And for Christ's sake, the article frames the discussion around the popular vote totals for midterms..... When will you whackos on the Left give it up?! Popular vote doesn't matter. When Republicans took 63 House seats and 6 Senate seats from Obama's Democrats in 2010, they won the popular vote by almost 6 million. But only the changed seats matter.

Gaining 40 House seats and losing 2 in the Senate is not epic in any way. It was very average. You know that though. You're just a liar.

Here are the Hillary states that elected a Democrat Republican:

None.

Not a single state that voted for Hillary in 2016 turned around and voted for a Republican Senator in 2018.

All Hilary states stayed Democratic.

CA, CT, DE, HI, ME, MD, MA, MN (2 seats), NV, NJ, NM, NY, RI, VT, VA, WA,

All of the states that voted Republican were already Trump states.

FL, IN, MS (2 seats), MO, NE, ND, TN, TX, UT, WY

So, that's your version of Republicans "winning" the Senate.

Only because Democrats won ND, IN, MO, FL in 2012 and not in 2018 was there a net gain of Republican seats.

And ND, IN and MO are pretty red.

The only big pick up was FL, which went to a recount.

If the 2020 presidential election goes the way of the 2018 senate races, Trump is toast.

Trump has really put himself in a box with Iran.

Early on, he tore up a multi-national deal with Iran because Obama signed it.

And he has soured the US relationships with our European allies who stayed with the deal.

He did nothing about Saudi Arabia's assassination of Khashoggi, a journalist.

Now there is a conflict with Saudi Arabia and Yemen with Iran possibly backing Yemen.

Trump is vacillating on what to do. He wants other countries to fight their own battles and also brags of the US military might.

This is where you need to work with your allies to approach the situation.

But, again, our allies wanted to stay with the pact and he has shown them no respect.

And he doesn't know how to work together with anyone.

This is where Trump is very weak and puts the world at harm.
