Right wingers in the US live in a bubble and protected by big oceans. Ask experts in Europe how disastrous it would be to let Russia take Ukraine. There is a global fight currently being waged against democracy. And it is fully funded by crackpot Autocrat dictators like Putin. Allowing Ukraine to fall to Russia would be a global signal that US style democracy is deceased and Putin would feel emboldened. Putin is currently weak. His war machine is currently weak. But taking Ukraine and US walking away from a loyal ally would be a complete makeover to a global enemy and scourge. It would be a great signal to China as well.
