This is what makes their silence significant. No where on their website, blog, twitter, or facebook have they mentioned that the run has ended. They were leaving their options open ended. To be determined if Rob could recover enough to pull off the rest of the pseudo attempt.

Reportedly, RY will be crossing the Monongahela River this afternoon.

In all likelihood their stops at the RV sales center and KOA campground near the Indy airport was them looking for a place to stash the RV.

Once they lined up one of those places, they went to lunch at GC. After lunch, they turned off the tracker, returned the RV to one of those locations and waited for the next flight out of town.

If they are to be believed that they still need to pick up the RV, it can most likely be found at one of those 2 locations.

Now, I need to get back to the Rossi thread before Mike gets drunk again.

As anyone asked RY's 'Manager' Oliver Weingarten for his input? He's been suspiciously quiet on the subject for a few days.

He was the initial guy I emailed when I planned on meeting up, and the one that told me that they were continuing on Saturday. I emailed him and Dustin back last night, and it was Dustin that replied that they are done. Oliver didn't not reply at all.

That one is only like a week old. It's kinda funny if used correctly, so I will allow you to continue to use it. But "mom's basement troll" has been around for years, all over the internet. It's old, tired, and henceforth banned.

Spot on re your last comment. The self appointed "running Gods" in there teach newcomers that the way to behave in this sport is to just sneer at everyone. They wont have a word said against RY ONLY because this forum outed him. With the RY thread on there they act like they are such nice people, refusing to allow anything mean to be said about him as they are just so nice - when normally they set on people like a pack of wolves. Some serious egos in there, and most are just old has-beens that act like a big fish in a little pond

Why would they go from Indy to NY, then rejoin the RV in Indy and drive to NY? Makes no sense.

It's hard to think he's that gullible. Simplest explanation is that he was part of the scam. "Effusive" is the operative word to describe the ridiculous claims on his blog about that.
