What happened? What turned the tide for Trump? Kamala was devastated. She was certain she would be the first lady president. And then the roof fell out.
The Democrats changed their candidate to a woman 90 days before the election and failed to distinguish how her administration would be different than Biden’s, whom many blamed for inflation, simply because it increased during his presidency.
Many of the pundits who expected a comfortable victory for Harris were assuming that voters were going to reject a convicted criminal who brazenly tried to steal the the previous election and who was clearly running for office to both protect himself from prosecution and enrich himself. Those pundits overestimated the American electorate.
