Well, not exactly. Freedom is freedom. Any U.S. citizen is perfectly justified in feeling like they hate the U.S. In one or more specific ways, or more generally. Indeed, violent and bad people aside, many people who decide that they hate the country often improve the country more than people sitting at home contently watching TV. How many times do you think that black people being abused by their neighbors and government during the civil rights movement thought, "I HATE this country!!"? A lot, I'm sure. And they succeeded in making it a lot better.
