The destruction of Iran’s nuclear threat? Iran’s nuclear facilities were obliterated in June and any suggestions otherwise are fake news. How many times do we have to obliterate them?
Moreover, at a minimum, Rubio told us (lied) that we had to attack them because they were about to attack us. With conventional weapons, of course. Fairly sure that Trump has said essentially the same since it started. Nothing to do with nuclear.
Wrap up: For at least the next ~3 years, we can go (back) to war with Iran (at least) at any time simply by claiming that they're about to have a nuclear weapon. Additionally, we can go to war with ANY country in the world by simply claiming that we believe that they were about to attack us.
No proof or persuasion (of Congress or the American people) required in either case, of course.
Small government, rule of law, the constitution, no wars, no regime change, etc. You know.
Oh, and while this is pretty obvious, I'll mention it anyway: We had to start a war with Iran this month because they were going to attack us if Israel attacked them.
But somehow, that WASN'T true when Israel attacked them last spring. And when their forces were, I think fairly safe to say, no doubt STRONGER than they were this month, because they were still licking their wounds from last spring. Necessary this year, NOT necessary last year in essentially the exact same situation.
What the response (especially from the media and Congress) should be EVERY TIME this administration shows another video of blowing something up in Iran: "Awesome. Straits back open, yet?"

Looking for some advice. I have a ferry ticket for 8am Monday (tomorrow) for the Straits of Hormuz. But it's a long drive to the terminal, and I'd hate to drive for nothing. Should I bother?? Everything good?
