Looks like Ben did do a 6x4k, which is a decent session. However he did it with 90s jog recovery, whereas you normally should be doing that with something like 1k float @ 90% MP (which is a far bit harder).
as much as i dislike Bester - he just seems so fake, creepy, unauthentic and desperate for likes - but fair play to the man. His Vitality 10k video was the first Ive watched all the way through and, considering he was running with Eilish for the majority, he got considerably more shout outs from the crowd and other runners. Not hard to see how his ego is as big as it is

Yes whatever you say about Bester you’ve got to hand it to him, he knows how to knuckle down and train well and get the best out of his ability.
Very impressive 10k time for someone about to hit their 40s and bulkier than his peers. From what I’ve read it was a tough day weather wise and the course was long too.

He has ran at least 100k weeks, every week, for almost 3 years or more. He really should be faster than he is. He trains very poorly IMO
I have no issues with Meg, and TBH I think some of the vitriol on this thread is a little embarrassing, but I think trying to be an accessory to Ben's channel instead of doing her own thing is a bad move. She does come across as a bit bland and overbearing, but it's hard not to when you're essentially the 'and now a break for the weather' guy, only now with slightly too much airtime and no real opportunity to develop your own narrative or find your own target audience without detracting from the one you're appearing in.
If anything the benefit of being associated with a larger YouTuber is that you tend to attract a bit more initial attention and 'inherit' some viewers to start with. That's a huge advantage given generating enough initial traction is a big hurdle for most channels with the amount of existing content, not to mention the resource/lifestyle investment is already pretty much there. She likes fashion and travels to big races, i'm sure she could probably find a crowd. This thread would hate it, and it would probably be a lot more fun than the BIR train.
Bit of a sad watch really, youtuber goes to the pub at lunchtime to get smashed on their own. Is this what happens if you quit your job to become a coach?
