Exactly. I forget the exact figure but over like the last 20 years the S & P 500 index fund has outperformed 90% of the actively managed mutual funds with highly paid managers and high expense fees. 90%!.

Anyone buying leaps on things like tlt?

I have mentioned this before but find it so fascinating. Since 1965 or so when Warren Buffet took over his Berkshire fund, the S & P 500 is up about 35,000% which is really great. Warren Buffet? Up 5,000,000%.

Actually agip has been pretty busy here highlighting the good and bad analysts. Having said that, I don’t think it’s necessary to do that with anyone referenced by Igy. We know what side they come down on.

1.5 million views! A lot of people saw this terrible prediction and probably many of them acted on it. No recession and the market is up 20% from the time of tweet.

So he was predicting it to be, at best, around 3,300. Quite a bit lower than it actually is. Has Mr. Rosenberg apologized for such a crappy prediction and said why he was so off?

If a recession as defined by the NBER, there's ZERO chance of that as it considers the unemployment rate as a major factor, and the unemployment rate is still super strong.

If Mr. Rosenberg is pretty much promising a recession ... that in itself is a 100% guarantee that a recession won't occur. This guy is called a Permabear but we need to change that to Permawrong.

Unhinged Government deficit spending can postpone many things, and it has. None of that does anything but make the final outcome worse, imho.
