His race is over. However, rest of us have LRC moral obligation to expose the fraud and have his "story" changed from the public perception to a complete lunny fraud that he is. He will still go on interview tour with all kind of nonsense BS about him "winning" his childhood abuse, against internet haters, etc. I believe he will bring in religion at this point because that gets the sheeps even more riled up.

If Dustin's email is to be believed, they didn't take it to NY yet because he said they'd come back for it. Either different folks drove our hero to NY, or they drove the RV to a nearby airport (Indy or maybe Dayton, but probably Indy) to hop a flight.

Despite how people are reading the tracker, I seriously doubt they ditched the RV at the Golden Corral. If they were dumb enough to do that, though, I hope GC tows it.

(No, I live somewhat north of there. Close enough to check it out, but I won't have time until thursday. However, I will be at the Indy airport tomorrow night and it would be hilarious if I magically spot it there.)

If I was a journalist, I would write an exposé on the faux charity / pay for my lifestyle grifter scene in endurance sports. Robert Young and the Sheen Mob can be just on of the prime examples in this story.

Has his book publisher been notified? If the posted excerpts are any indication, that book needs to be reclassified to fiction at minimum.

Also, someone should notify Guinness that there's substantial evidence for a new record for slowest 2000 mile drive.

The fraud crew should just stop over at Oprah's studio and have quacks, Oz and Phil, there too. Oz can delve into sausage bangers and caffeine induced 5 min miles and Phil can to anal probe into his childhood abuse.

Just imagine the story they can spin to the sheeps out there. They will bawling with over emotion. No amount of evidence will matter at that point.

Yeah, it seems to be a very common thing for endurance athletes to associate themselves with some kind of sob story charity so they can claim appearance fees and give you a stomach gagging story about how you should donate to their charity. It makes me sick and I refuse to support anyone that does this. Not only are most charities scams, the athlete is then also a scammer. So you get scammed twice.
