Big Deal!!!! Why is no one talking about the 100's of Obama lies. For instance, the one where he talks about his dad's flag draped coffin (US flag) when in FACT his dad was a communist buried in Kenya!!!!! On Feb. 23rd 2009, Obama pledged to cut the deficit in half. It is now 16 trillion, folks. Now those are REAL LIES!!!!!

Linda, the national debt is $16 trillion. The deficit is probably around $1.2 trillion. If the Bush tax cuts had never happened, what would the deficit be now? Clinton left Bush a big surplus and Bush squandered it and left the economy in shambles, which is why there is a deficit now. Under Obama, federal gov't spending has increased by 2.4 percent, I believe, per year, the smallest increase since Truman.

But you are being to judgmental. Ryan ran that race 20 years ago and is not in the running community. He was asked about it on the spot and had not thought about it for years.

Didn't President Obama say that there are 57 states in the US; plus many other lies like when he said he just met Bill Ayers casually on the street? He actually served with Ayers in several organizations and his senate kickoff was in Ayer's home!

Obama's lies are much worse than a mistatement about a 20-year old event. Ryan is not you and does not take running as seriously as you or I (who began running i9n my 40s and set a PR of 3:23:45 in NY in 1983 at age 51. I am 89 now.)

So please reconsider and give Ryan a break.

Ryan was confused. He though he was asked about President Obama’s undergraduate GPA. Under 3.0. Something like 2.55. And, Obama still got into Harvard Law! Just think, under that scenario Al Gore should have qualified for Boston with his 5 hour marathon time.

Obama wins on integrity because he does not make stuff up all the time, like Ryan. Did you listen to Ryan's convention speech? The marathon lie is sticking because it meshes well with what we have all seen of Ryan. The fact checkers went crazy after his convention speech. He is an inveterate liar. We all know that Obama's run the cleanest administration in decades, if not in American history. Btw, he never claimed never to have smoked dope.

Misspeaking about 57 states once is not lying. Are you that stupid? I was curious about this claim about Obama. So I checked out a website called obamalies. I could not find a single lie on that site's first page. And to not fulfill a campaign promise is not a lie when you have to get lots of other people to go along with you and sometimes they will not. I'm old enough to remember the constant scandals of the Reagan administration, some of them enormous, like Iran Contra. This presidency has had the fewest scandals of any in memory, and those few things the right has dredged up have been non stories, e.g. someone vaguely connected to the White House with some quasi left wing comments.

Percentage increase? Look at actual dollars to get a good idea.

Obama will have spent $15 trillion in a period he brought in$10 million.

After 8 years Bush spent $1.2 trillion more than he brought in.
