This is so sad. It was only a matter of time until a D1 kid who had talent came to D3, I'm surprised it took this long. Imagine being so slow, you have to make a petition because you are mad that you aren't going to win nationals in the 5k. My advice to Emmanuel and D3, run faster, get fitter. You're mad Seth is breaking the records? A kid who ran your mile PR in highschool ? Then go out there and take the records back yourself.
d1 level talent ≠ epo user
I personally would care much less about losing to, for example, Ryan Wilson – who ran 3:55 at MIT – than someone on epo...
You have no proof anyone took EPO, because there has never failed a test? Everyone is mad and pointing fingers, but there is no smoking gun. If you haven't learned anything about Burrito Shelby, it's you're innocent until proven guilty. She failed a test she did her time. If he took EPO even one time, it would change his life time blood profile forever, and even after all his tests, there still has not been a positive one. You think you can just order EPO off of the Internet? Come on dude. Is that the extent of a Hopkins education?
The professional athletes who dope are getting designer drugs to pass tests, one molecule branch off of what is normal in order to pass. They aren't ordering off the Internet, their agents are getting it made in a lab for their athletes. You think doping gets you 13:32? No. Super shoes, some talent, and consistent work gets you 13:32, and guess what. If he ran 13:32 at Iowa State, he wouldn't even make it into the top 25 right now in D1.
Everyone who thinks this kid is doping is just envious and has too much to say. Wake up, go train harder if it makes you that mad.

Does anyone else find it suspicious that defending xc champion Emmanuel Leblond is trying to get his new competition kicked out of D3 right before nationals?? Leblond should focus on his training and running sub 8 in the 3k instead of whining about Super Seth.

I did 15 minutes of searching. It's not hard to find - find steroid / bodybuilding forums and look at their most recommended sources. Testosterone is INCREDIBLY easy to find but EPO is a bit harder. And I found 2 places to buy EPO off that quick search.

It sounds like you might be getting distracted you from the fact that there is irrefutable video evidence that someone used Seth's personal gmail account to order EPO from the dark web and have it shipped to Seth's grandfather's house. Who could have done such a thing? I guess we'll never know, but it would be libelous and irresponsible to suggest that Seth himself placed that order, so I am certainly not suggesting that, on December 5th 2025, Seth used his personal email address to illegally purchase drugs and ship them to his grandfather's house.

Or maybe kudos to him for having some brass stones to take action and make an attempt at getting this properly investigated.
transcription of letter posted by Seth and his representation on instagram: To Whom It May Concern: Please be advise that this firm has been retained by Seth Clevenger to address the ongoing circulation of false information. Please allow this letter to clarify the facts surrounding Seth Clevenger's athletic and academic history. Seth Clevenger is not taking and has not taken drugs to enhance his running performance. An inquiry was conducted during his time at Iowa State University, during which Seth underwent testing and was cleared of any wrongdoing. Contrary to the false claims circulating online, Seth was neither dismissed from the lowa State team nor expelled from the university. The NCAA prohibits student-athletes from transferring out of trouble and being immediately eligible; had these allegations been true, Seth would not have been eligible to immediately compete for Rowan University. Seth chose to attend Rowan University for several reasons, including the opportunity to complete his degree on time, the positive academic and athletic experiences that his brother had at Rowan, the chance to be part of a competitive team, and the ability to commute from home. Recently, a video has surfaced and been disseminated by two former Iowa State teammates who may have been dismissed from the team after the investigation in the fall. They claimed that they accessed Seth's Gmail account through a "shared computer." This claim is unequivocally false, as the video in question is timestamped February 10, 2026, nearly two months after Seth had left Iowa State. The individuals we think are responsible for the video have expressed intentions to harm Seth's reputation. They chose to release and spread this misinformation last week in hopes of influencing Rowan University's decision regarding his participation in the Valentine Invitational. To address these baseless allegations and their methods law enforcement has been notified, and a criminal investigation is underway. Additionally, the purported receipt shown in the video is fraudulent—it is addressed to an incorrect address and originates from a company that ceased shipments to the United States in early September. Furthermore, there are multiple tabs open at top such as adobe acrobat, adobe acrobat create, adobe acrobat home, JOPDF, Fill PDF, Search, Edit, Fill, and Sign. These are all editing and photoshop tools and have AI abilities. Seth has voluntarily participated in institutional drug testing arranged by Rowan University. Monday, he underwent a blood test, which returned negative results for Erythropoietin (EPO) and showed normal blood markers across all areas. At this point Seth would like to focus on his academics and continue to improve and help nis team. As Seth has complied with all NCAA regulations and voluntarily submitted urine anc lood testing, we will not be commenting further on this matter. Any additional inquiries and information on this video should be directed to the Haddonfield Police Department [phone number] or [email]. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.

So Seth’s crack legal team is going with AI deep fake and “it wasn’t even his address,” as if shipping to grandpa’s house makes it better? Absolutely amazing defense team.
