Not true. Russia plays Trump like a fiddle. It's not trust Putin has for Trump, it's the knowledge that he can esaily manipulate Trump. Regardless, not one in the west should ever trust Putin.
Russia supports Iran—with weapons and money. They’ve been doing this for decades and did it while Trump was President. During Russia’s unnecessary and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine which started in 2014 and spanned Trumps entire first term—Russia repeatedly violated ceasefire agreements with Ukraine that the US was a party to and Trump did nothing.
In 2016, while Trump was POTUS, Russia used bases in Iran to bomb Syria and Trump did and said nothing publically. North Korea (and, thus, China) is also involved in Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine not because Russia is strong and winning—but because they are losing, do not have the manpower to continue fighting the much tougher Ukrainians much longer and their (Russias) economy is in serious trouble. The flow of weapons with Iran from Russia to Iran has reversed in recently because Russia is in such trouble.
Why does Trump want to support Iran and China so badly? Because by giving Russia what they want--i.e. land that is rightfully Ukraines per the 1991 agreement that is exactly what Trump is doing.

First US started at war between Russia and Ukraine and then they invite the Ukrainian leader to the White House to ambush him. US should learn to clean up their own messes instead of forcing other countries to do it for them- we saw it in Vietnam, Irak, Afghanistan etc.

Europe has said again yerterday, both UK and France that trhey will put boots on ground. Peacekeeping forces are mostly army guys twiddling their thumbs at moment getting paid to do nothing and welcome the training, plus reservists.

Trump had previously told Zelensky that he had to establish security guarantees with Europe on his own...The mineral deal was a separate issue.
