Caitlin Clark made the WNBA popular and in the league physically abused her and disrespected her. I don't blame her for quitting basketball for the next 200 days.
Carrington made such an obvious eye gouge (watch the video) and the league and the media did nothing and most were afraid to call her out on it for fear of being called racist.
Then Carrington played the race card and the league jumped to her defense. I have never seen a player targeted like that with permission.

I watched it live. it wasnt an attempt to "gouge her eye out" in the least. just a follow through and her fingers caught her eye. the refs didnt even see the contact. they assumed Clark was being dramatic like she sometimes is. even Clark said it was a basketball play after the game. and anyway Clark hip checked her into the 2nd row on a later play for a little pay back. neither was called. thats baskteball. stop trying to make it a racial issue just to stir sht up. she got fouled hard by white girls in college on many occasions. why werent you crying then? and black women foul other black women in the WNBA hard all the time. its a physical game. did you not see the Griner vs. Jackson altercation earlier in the week? you only watch Clark games, its no wonder why you only call out fouls on Clark...
Sunday’s Aces-Liberty WNBA semifinal Game 1 averaged 929,000 viewers on ABC, up 27% from Game 1 of last year’s WNBA Finals between the same two teams, which aired in the same Sunday ABC timeslot (729K).
Paige Bueckers won NCAA player of the year as a freshman over Clark. If she hadn’t struggled with injuries she’d be bigger than Clark. A healthy year next year for Connecticut and WNBA going up another level.
Tuesday’s Aces-Liberty WNBA semifinal Game 2 averaged a 0.56 rating and 969,000 viewers on ESPN2, surpassing Sunday’s Game 1 on ABC (929K) as the most-watched semifinal game since 2002.
Like Game 1, Game 2 outdrew all four games of last year’s WNBA Finals between the same two teams, the most-watched of which was Game 4 with 889,000.

This entire post was 100% true. Before someone suggests this is racist, a number of black pundits agreed with your take. The eye gouge was obviously intentional and fit into Carrington's past behavior.
