Precisely. If you're going to have social media accounts, you're allowed to (and it's wiser to) have a personal account for close friends and family and another for your profession if you're a public figure, even a minor one, wanting to publicize your work. You make the former private and the latter public, it's really that simple and saves you so much trouble.

is there a contract? Sounds like everything has been word-of-mouth and handshakes. Pretty sure the "severance package" is something TME implemented today to make themselves appear like the heroes and the victim in all of this nonsense

2. How did he harass and abuse the team? Evidence
3. He got fired because he broke his contract? How? Evidence.
4. He didn’t depart amicably? How so, what do you mean? We’ve heard like two short paragraphs from them and he didn’t say anything bad. Evidence.
If you provided evidence for all 4 of those claims, this thread would be over. We’ve had 33 pages speculating and you just come in and say stuff. You could be 100% right but no one would ever know because you didn’t back up anything you said.

So you are privy to the details of the/any contract(s)? Wow maybe you could fill us in on those details. Because you are making out like you have the details and you clearly aren't Tom Schwartz, so it's hard to believe you could possibly be objective and impartial with this "hot take".
The reality is that it's a total mess on both sides but look at the parties involved. A 23 year old kid and his mates and a high school coach neither of whom were involved in professional sports until the last 3 years and have had no leadership/support/guidance in this endeavor - in all honesty neither are to blame here.
TME doesn't sound like something a high school kid thinks up. There was also probably the expectation Schwartz would bring in other top runners and help build TME. A good reason to move from Idaho to Colorado.
He did separate amicably. He did not reveal anything when they had separated a month(s) ago. TME and Schwartz should have worked together to release some sort soon after splitting rather than letting the sh** hit the fan
Tammy jumped in to defend her husband since it appears they were blindsided by this whole situation and people were saying it was Tom's fault rather than the immaturity of the TME boys.
So how much does Cory Leslie get paid?
And if a decent amount, do they need 2 coaches?

2. He and his wife made burner accounts to harass the TME boys online, he sent harassment’s over text and phone, was racist toward Syd, would put down all the members of the team to their faces and behind their backs, tried to turn teammates against each other. Totally fireable offenses.
TME isn’t stupid enough to post details of contracts/salaries/etc because they don’t want to give Tom anything if this goes to court.

The two are not totally separable, though. In any professional environment, there will be an established culture and its normal to expect people to respect it or GTFO. So, if for example, the group felt the coach was on social media making statements that didn't mesh with the team's (or brand's?) ethos, they could absolutely cut ties for that reason. So, his PUBLIC activity on social media should completely be fair game for the discussion. I agree his private life should be private -- but public behavior reflects on the whole team/brand/company/whatever. It's the same at a Fortune 500 company -- if you are advertising your employment there and also making comments your company doesn't like, they'll fire you. Companies all have social media policies which make this plainly clear.
But Julia Webb?? She uses a public IG account to blast about both her running and her views jointly. That is totally fair game since she's the one putting it out there and not separating the sport from her politics.

thats what happens when you stay silent and try to quietly fire a coach that is embedded into the culture of the team/brand. without trying to bring back the speculation there are definitely reasons that would completely justify their decision and it might be hard to shed light on those issues if they reflect poorly on someone you previous had respoect for, but at this point i think they need to add some clarity or else people are going to draw their own conclusions...which clearly creates a mass if this topic is any indication.

That's the main issue here I believe. I don't fault TME for wanting to find a new coach. They should have had a meeting with him, laid out their concerns, fired him. Then released a PR statement saying they have let Tom go.
Instead they fired him, without apparently telling him why, and then tried to keep it quiet to "stay focused on the Olympics". Which is baloney. They're all about being open to the public and have shared some personal stories online, but they want to keep firing the guy who their team is named after on the DL?
Absolutely ridiculous. They had the opportunity to control this entire narrative but instead they blew it. Maybe they need to meditate more with their singing bowl

His online coaching gig has really blown up since he was brought on the team.
TME needs to rename themselves ASAP. If this happened so long ago, they have had time to think. I mean, they claim that they are creative, let’s see what they got! And if they are so dedicated to the sport to change coaches, they let’s see how they come out on the other end. There is obviously potential in that group, but they gotta grow up and keep the drama down.

I still have to just take your word for it, but at least it's fairly specific, and I think at least some people who will be more prone to believing you now. I'm assuming all the burner accounts/comments are deleted so we can't verify. In any case, I fully believe TME thinks it was best to part ways based on Tinman's action/coaching... because.. obviously.. they parted ways. And I didn't really think too negatively about the TME guys, because people change coaches... that's just how it is. His wife's post slightly made me think maybe they are immature or whatever. So if TME was more in the 'right' here, I'd be upset with what she said too. Of course, if what she said is true, then I can see why she'd be upset too.
It seems crazy to me Tinman would make burner account, and publicly, yet anonymously, bash his own athletes and harass them. Like who TF does that. I think that's why this is hard for people to believe. It's possible his wife had a secondary account and got irritated and commented on a few posts, and that Tom said some things that were interpreted differently than how he meant them. But it's also possible what you are saying is just 100% true so we don't want to minimize bad actions, but we also don't want to assume the worst about a person is true based off anonymous internet posts. So personally, I'll just not have an opinion on either party for now.
