David Jackson has been listed as director for both genders since Julie left. Are they combining programs and gonna let Tim Richie take over both genders for XC? Worth noting they do not have a female on staff currently...
Umass is interesting. They have no women coaches, they have amid-distance coach who would not be a good hire for the women's XC program.
Tim Ritchie is there, but not really a very good coach.
They have to bring in someone from the outside, probably a woman.

Hahahaha yea you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. Sure he isn’t the greatest coach to walk this earth, but explain how the men’s and women’s team have consistently improved in one of the toughest conferences in the nation? Maybe if you actually looked at the women that are in the portal, you would see that they aren’t super talented and shouldn’t have been at a Big 10 school to begin with. They weren’t getting to travel and compete during the track season and they want to go to a school where they can do that. It’s pretty simple really, but go ahead and keep spewing your terrible logic.
Caryl would go krazy at Georgia with how little they pay attention to track and how football runs the show and bullies admin around. Track is even below sports like tennis and gymnastics. Facilities bad. Hard to build a big bad sprints program out of field event school with no indoor track. She will find out real kwik they are paying her to be greatful and quiet and make do. No sunshine and beach from Nov to April. Good luck. Petroes got 2 much baggage and rumors for SC but maybe he sneaks through by working his ways.. .. he would probably like the Hollywood side of it and weather. Will prob not cry 2 much or care about bouncing on his current athletes he leaves behind but maybe not his choice even... .. As long as He is happy. It's all buziness right. I guess that's how it works for coaches. Get it while you can. Caryl might enjoy a big GA salary for a bit until bigger school like Oregon or AM comes open.... Then she can leave em high and dry or get them to chase her there. Will be fun to watch both of them clout chasin the greener grass and watch the ministrators keep forking it over to the same people with different faces. Who will have a 4x4 in 2 years is the real question.

When I first read the Petros/Caryl swap rumor, I didn’t think much of it. But after reading this thread, I want to see it happen just so I can see how this person would react haha.
2 unhappy coaches/people. Have you met them? Smile to your face then talk ish as you walk away. Nothing changes with color of polo or zip code.
Given that 3 of his athletes entered the portal I would not say he is leaving them “high and dry” he must have had a conversation with them, they will follow him or he is obviously supportive of their options since he is still posting about them and seems to be no bad blood while they are in portal. Would be funny to see them switch and see which athletes switch as well.
