Trump is a jerk and probably a racist too. I voted for Trump in 2016 and I have to admit I will vote for him in 2020. I honestly hate Trump, but sometimes a jerk can do things that need to be done. China has been taking advantage of us and we needed someone to stand up to them. And we can't let all these illegal aliens into our country. We can't give them free insurance and college.

But he also has screwed up much internationaly. That picture of him with the baby whose parents just got killed showed he has no empathy.
But the democratic debates showed me the democrats will say anything and give away anything to get elected. That turned me off.

How has China taken advantage? They, and others, provide us with cheap goods. When you raise tariffs the prices of these goods go up. Even if companies manufactured these goods in the USA they would be much more expensive to produce.
Not only that but China responds with tariffs of its own and manipulates its currency, both of which severely harms the agricultural sector and farmers.
It is also not illegal for immigrants to ask for asylum. The issue is with the process, not the people.
