Every intellectual shortcoming of the mouth breathers isn’t worth commenting on, of course, but I do find the one above slightly more notable (and annoying). The idea that the incredible military capability that ANY successful presidential candidate inherits is IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER a positive reflection on them. Like Kamala or Pete or AOC or Bernie would or will have any fewer warheads to throw around.
And even worse when they selectively give credit to one of them who would have done ANYTHING not to have served.
And while I know from personal experience how notably flawed so many senior military leaders are, I’d still estimate that at least 95% of them would probably have far, far more respect for ANY other politician-in-chief than Trump. Just like the rest of the citizenry, any military leader who isn’t (privately, in their case) disgusted by Trump isn’t worthy of their citizenship.
