As of January 2026 Trump has inflation down to 2.4%. The Feb. #s won't be in until March 11. I am pretty sure Trump's 2.4% is better than what Biden had it in June 2022 - 9.1%.
Why has core PPE - the Fed’s preferred measure of inflation - risen since Trump took office?
We know Trump left Biden a sh*tty economy. Biden brought the trumpflation down from 9.1% to under 3%. Trump has inflation rising again - and he sure as sh*t didn’t bring prices down.
1/20/21 - Trump left Biden an inflation rate of 1.4%. In a little over a year - Biden had that up to over 9.0%. Quite an accomplishment for Biden to jack it up so high from 1.4%.
Trump is following Victor Orban's model to a T. I hope you like modern day Hungary because that is what Trump is shooting for.
To understand modern-day Hungary, consider these key aspects: Political Landscape: Hungary is a parliamentary republic, currently led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the Fidesz party. Economic Growth: The country has experienced steady economic growth, driven by manufacturing, technology, and tourism. Cultural Heritage: Hungary boasts a rich cultural history, with influences from various civilizations, evident in its architecture, music, and cuisine. EU Membership: As a member of the European Union, Hungary participates in regional politics and benefits from EU funding. Social Issues: The country faces challenges such as demographic decline, migration debates, and tensions regarding civil liberties. Tourism: Budapest, known for its thermal baths and historic sites, remains a major tourist destination, attracting millions annually.

Sally trying to change the subject. Sad.
Prices are increasing under Trump 2.0. Inflation is currently higher than when he took office.
the one Dem getting national attention is Talarico in Texas.
like Beto a few cycles ago, he's a young charismatic good talker.
Beto flamed out but let's see if Talarico can do better. Talarico's timing is perfect - a blue wave, lots of media attention to him, and likely running against Paxton, who is a deeply flawed candidate and beatable.
I like Talarico and think you may be right, but here are some issues:
- He's picked a fight with Crockett and is already trending negatively in some circles of the internet.
- He's a minister and "some" are calling him a Christian Nationalist. I put the some in quotes because it is morons on Reddit and Twitter, but could he possibly lose voters because of this?
I am not fighting with you. Just bringing up two hurdles that are immediately apparent scrolling through social media. We'll see how they play out.
The party needs to keep their powder dry, though I also think the effort of stress testing Newsom is a good thing. He isn't doing particularly well and that is good to know in 2026 as opposed to Summer of 2028.
I guess the "Big Tent" that Libs always talk about is not as big as they proclaim ...

yeah your big tent is even bigger - it allows actual Nazis to even work in the White House! So tolerant!

here's the economic summary. We all know the place is barely a functioning demcoracy after a maga-like era of central government.
Hungary's economy is currently facing a challenging situation, characterized by a basket case status due to a combination of factors. The country has been hit by U.S. tariffs and is ranked as the EU's most corrupt country in 2024. The government is struggling to reignite growth, facing a technical recession with a quarter-on-quarter decline in GDP. Key sectors like automotive manufacturing, electronics, and pharmaceuticals are struggling, and the government is seeking to kickstart an economic recovery sooner than later. However, the uphill struggle ahead is significant, given the weak industrial performances of these sectors.

He also brought back the 2.7 million jobs that trump lost. Now, in trump’s first year many measures of inflation are increasing.
So, Biden - brought back all the jobs trump lost, fixed trumpflation, and didn’t get convicted of any felonies.
trump - lost millions of jobs (only president ever to lose jobs in four years), printed so much money that inflation was inevitable, convicted felon, serial rapist, and pedophile, was graduated last in his class.

Artificial intelligence is a poor substitute for the actual intelligence that you’re sorely lacking.

Inflation reached 17% in 2023 and they run high deficits.... Just like Trump.
It's higher than when he took office. Why do you always lie?

Do not forget the open border, allies taking advantage of us and the woke culture where you could get me-tooed for misgendering a trans in women's sports. This was all part of the swamp that Biden autopenned over.
