I will also say this. Vagrants – especially the insanely mentally ones that Democrats tolerate – ruin cities like almost nothing else (tolerating violent crime is the other). Having some schizo screaming at nothing on the subway should never be a part of "normal" city living. Go look at other places – Tokyo, Dubai, etc – and they're all clean and safe because of strong policing. When Republicans run cities, they want to make it a good place to live for people who actually build the city – cut taxes and reduce crime. On the other hand, Democrats just want to give handouts to public sector unions and welfare.

When trump left office in 2021 he ending with 11.5 million undocumented workers the TRUMP poured in. Why? Someone has to pick fruits and vegetables, clean out sewers, mow lawns and gold courses, clean homes and hotel rooms, and cook food in restaurants.
Crime is down almost everywhere, even in areas with low policing - and it coincided with an economic recovery from COVID along with federal stimulus relief programs. As 1. those programs are discontinued due to DOGE actions, as 2. Trump's international extortion racket - er, tariffs* start really having an economic effect, 3. as housing supply slows because many of the people building those houses for lower rates are getting ICE'd esp or those materials become more expensive, 4. as the Trump Crime Family and the Epstein class cashes in, 5. as these meme coin scams start bankrupting people, and more, let's see if that five year violent crime trend that started under Biden continues.
