Anyone that suggested that Trump was a conman and pathological liar now has a little bit of crow to eat.

The first and foremost duty of the government is to ensure the continuation of the state.

Trump knows that his GOP people are monkeys that he can control at will. They stood up and clapped at things that voter polls prove are widely unpopular with their constituents. Trump thought he could do the same with Democrats when he did his pathetically childish "stand and clap if you believe etc, etc, etc...."

It didn't work.

The difference between Trump and a more intelligent orator that was trying to accomplish the goal that Trump was is this. A skilled guy would actually say something that should prompt all attendees to stand. He wouldn't just come out and bark orders that people should stand for what he is about to say...

It seemed to be a very Trumpian attempt to do what Biden did. To get the GOP members "on record" committing that they would not cut medicare. Biden played them. Trump got played.

So rather than address (or refute) trump’s lies, you blindly claim that Democrats are immature. I’m not sure you understand what the word “immature” means.

Democrats looked like a bunch of emotional spoiled little brats, who cowered to a man and flipped the finger at other adults crying over losing their children. Just pathetic.

You cower because we know that about 50% of you want to kill him literslly.. Everyone knows that at least half of those Congress people would murder Trump if they could. it’s a serious number so you sit and stomp your feet at innocent people.

I would bet oldrunningguy sets a PR for number of posts today...that's how you know what a bad look that was for pathetic Dems last night. And it was, even if Trump stretches some stats in that address. Their child like "take my ball and go home " behavior was such a bad look. Honestly, no matter what they say, this was a way better than just good night for Trump. Sprinkling in "feel good" true stories absolutely helped.

That's fine you believe it was a good night for your king.

But why do you think it was a good night? Will it do anything for his approval numbers? Is the outlook for November looking any better because it's pretty damn poor at the moment?

The people who worship him thought he was incredible, that was always going to be the case, but do you genuinely belive he's changed any minds given it was the same old tired classic lies about the economy being great and tariffs being paid for by other countries, etc?
