And Sally still refuses to answer my question.
Are we treating asylum seekers properly?
Fat Hurts - I answered a while back. They should be afforded the most humane conditions. I am not sure they are getting the most humane conditions. But, I believe that the mainstream media showing cages is attempting to paint the picture in the way they want. Babies in cages? Is that really what is happening? Again, Obama was the one who started with the cages. I remember the beginning of Scarface. Al Pacino and his sidekick were being held in something similar to cages. To borrow from Mark Twain, I think the rumors of the cages have been greatly exaggerated. But, I do want the "asylum seekers" (many are not) to get the most humane treatment.
This did not happen during the Obama administration. Asylum seekers were treated with respect and dignity. They were not held in cages at all. They were processed and then released into the country until they would come back for their hearing. Each was assigned a case worker to keep up with them and they returned for the hearing over 99% of the time.
This president implemented a policy where children were separated from their parents, with everyone held in cages.
The situation is only somewhat improved after the outcry last year.
Our president is an evil man who holds people in cramped, inhumane cages. They are not being "afforded the most humane conditions". No matter how much you want to hide your eyes from it, you know it is true. This must stop.
