Finally, Biden’s energy policies (subsidizing fuel switching from fossil fuels to electrification, batteries over gas turbines and other green measures) come at an increased cost and threaten the economies of fossil fuel producing nations and states. To say that Trump doesn’t offer solutions is an outright lie.
3. Under Biden we are in a proxy war with the country with the most nuclear weapons in the world and a war in Israel where we helped fund the initial rocket attack by Hamas. Sorry if you feel mean tweets are more of a threat.

Try harder. If the Dems had been in office, the shutdowns would have been harsher and the economic damage more severe. The whole reason for the Blue State Bailout / American Rescue Plan, that was the primary culprit in the big spike in inflation, was to bail out blue states that caused most of the economic damage by enacting prolonged shutdowns.

You are assuming that most voters are doing any thinking for themselves. That is incorrect. They are listening to their X / facebook feed that only tells them what will get them clicking and that means what will make them angry, facts or not.
Example 1: Talking to a guy at a car show. Highly skilled blue collar, travels a lot, gets paid very well. Has about 10 classic cars, first one bought in 2020. Said he'd take a pay cut to work locally. Then goes off on the terrible economy, dementia Joe and longs for the good ol Trump days. He is ignoring the facts of his own life in favor of right wing media.
Example 2: Getting work done at a shop, owner tells me he is so busy it is going to take extra time and cost 25% more than 2 yrs ago. Says he is having a difficult time hiring people even for substantially higher wages than a few years ago, but his profits are way up. Then talks about the terrible economy. Media feed overriding his own reality.
They have fought against ending fossil fuel dependence for generations. They fight against fuel economy rules, against EVs, against subsidizing green tech, against everything that could get us off fossil fuels.
Now what they said would never happen - weaning off fossil fuels may happen because of green energy technologies.

Regarding electric cars:
1) They are still in their infancy, so overpriced is a given there.
2) Electric cars will eventually be what everyone drives, and the benefit will be great. The greatest benefit will be when they perfect the method of charging cars while they drive on the highway. Even IF the pollution output were the same (it's not), if you can move that away from big cities, especially ones with air inversions (LA and Phoenix for example), the benefit to the people in those areas is great.
3) Weird that innovation is political...on both sides. No, you're not a hero for driving an electric car, and no you're not right that gas-powered cars are just fine now and forever.
