Yes, I believe that they will also maintain 100% of their ability to burn down their trailer with their gas stove.
Perhaps on purpose for the good ole' insurance fraud. Crime is already more prevalent in the lower classes, of course, and Trump ain't helping (explicitly, OR by example).
It's truly fun to imagine how much Trump would VISIBLY not care for a visit to the home of his typical rally attendee. You'd see him moving gingerly, not wanting to touch anything, with a forced, slightly-disgusted smile on his face. And couldn't WAIT to leave.
Not entirely different from when he's visited veterans' cemeteries.

But he probably WOULD remember to give them a box of pork rinds and Krispy Kremes that a Secret Service agent had JUST handed to him. Cuz he's a genuine person.

nah trump knows how to charm people - remember that sales is his great skill.
almost everyone who meets trump in person says trump has massive personal charisma and makes you like the guy. He's sold a lot of stuff, remember. And was a TV star. You don't win at those things if you are openly disgusted by your marks.
That said, it's just an act and he loathes ma'aga as losers.

President Biden, 81, appeared to freeze at a White House celebration for Juneteenth on Monday, standing still for about 30 seconds while others clapped and danced at a concert.

Always rational. They also wanted to force Uvalde teachers to start packing so they could shoot it out with gun nuts and not have to rely on law enforcement.
Former President Donald Trump on Sunday rallied voters in Las Vegas during a campaign stop where his teleprompter appeared to not be working. During the stop...
Another lifelong Republican and former official of the freaking Heritage foundation calls Trump a threat to democracy. What would he know? After all, he only had front row seat to Trumps conduct and actions trying to use the military to assist his efforts to overturn democracy.
Dont let Trumpers gaslight you. Lifelong Republicans that saw Trump up close are leading the charge against him.
Its not George Soros
Its not wokeism
Its not the deep state
BREAKING: Mark Esper, Donald Trump’s former Secretary of Defense, has announced that he will not vote for Trump. Esper stated that Trump is a threat to democracy.

Charm and charisma are obviously in the eye of the beholder. And are those characteristics fundamentally different than anything else, like honesty? If Trump tells a bald-faced lie to one of his supporters, and the person believes him, is it accurate - in the spirit of your "nah" above - to STILL label him as possessing honesty?
Objectively, the answer is clearly no. We need not respect the views of the moronic.
Even without knowing his history, I'd be quite surprised if the in-the-flesh Trump can't be seen through within minutes...or seconds. And then add in the last ~10 years, and it's simply laughable that anyone would find him charming.

I personally think he's been a $hit salesman most of his life - if anything a very effective scumbag who had the economic upper hand to get others to enter into unfavorable deals with him. IMO the level of education and intelligence of the average American finally dropped low enough to fall for his low-IQ salesmanship in large enough numbers. We are talking about people who can't tell the basic difference between scripted TV shows and reality. Just let it sink in that after all we've seen, they want to make him POTUS again.

Let me be more quantitative in my reply about the perceptions of that visit:
1) MOST Trumpers would think that it was great. Of course. Lie to me about the wall, and everything else, and pretend that you're thrilled to visit my house.
2) Giving some benefit of the doubt, a FEW might actually pick up on his disgust. And they might not admit that to another human being....but perhaps the shine would come off a little, privately.

come on be fair trump has put together multi-million dollar deals his whole life. selling individual properties, assembling funding packages for developments and licensing out his brand. these are big, big sales. We're not talking trump water here.
and then he turned his charisma on the low-IQ, low information americans that make up his base. It wasn't a fair fight.

Big enough deals for Dr. Trump to be worth around $6 BILLION. He is a real estate magnate - one of the best of all time.
they are still heavily for TRump 56-34 on Polymarket
but if you look at Polymarket's electoral college map state by state...Biden wins.
Remember...if MN WI MI PA stay blue, Biden wins the WH no matter what Trump does elsewhere. And that's not crazy - betting odds for each say Biden will do just that.
Although there is an EC tie scenario that would be the perfect s'storm to all this and is honestly the most likely outcome if you ask me.

Please don't underestimate the power of the right wing ecosystem to promote Trump to the masses. It is enormous. They have been whitewashing everything about Trump for 8 years. He has been marketed with millions of dollars for free.
It was raining today so I did my run on a treadmill in the gym. Of course, all stations were on Fox news. I could not hear what they were saying but through chyrons you could know the topics. I highly recommend you do this from time to time. (if you can stomach it). It is frankly scary. It is all culture war stuff. And the culture war stuff is so damn stupid that it is amazing that the viewers don't turn the TV's off. Instead they gobble it up. As an example, they were crying about how "GEN X is going to war agains blue collar work" WTF? And they interviewed one person as proof. It is insane. But it works because if you look at the topics on letsrun they all mirror what the right wing ecosystem is feeding them,

Reminds me of what people generally have in mind, I think, when they mention PT Barnum (fairly, or not). The point isn't mainly that he has charm or charisma, but rather:
1) He's a slimeball who will say anything to make money.
2) There are LOTS of stupid people who will help him out with that.

Hey AGIP
Betting oddsmakers have the goal of enticing bets. Drawing in money. They are not predictive. They often goose the numbers for more people to play.
Also, Some oddsmakers set odds based on how bets are coming in. It is simply mathematical. And nothing else. And that produces the odds. But you have to remember that dumb people gamble. Have you ever been inline to buy something at a store and waited for the lottery buyers to clear out?
never forget that story of the Astro physics convention in Vegas. They were invited once but never invited back again because nobody was simple minded enough to throw money away.

totally agree that fox's goal is to make its viewers believe the nation is a violent cesspool of crazy and late Roman Empire perversion. People live their days in prosperity and peace and then go home, turn on Fox and are convinced it's absolute madness, chaos, violence and ruin...just outside their county. In that other county. Over there.
Fox is one of the most damaging things that has ever happened to the US. All done by an immigrant, ironically. Murdoch. Maybe this anti-immigrant stuff has a point.

well not sure if I agree the odds are goosed.
but I do agree that the bettors skew R...I'd guess they are 90% male and that is an R demographic so you have to take that under consideration when looking at betting odds for politics.

It's still a head scratcher, to me. On the one hand, sure, he said bad things about libs (and probably minorities) that they wanted to hear. But that they accepted it coming from a very rich, non-self-made, city slicker? AND he also said bad things about veterans (and POWs, no less) and law enforcement? Still OK.
