Triathlete punches woman en route to win!!!

I want to thank my husband, Bobby Berna, and my friends, Dan and Charles Scott, who keep posting to this board to excuse my behavior. Lying to the race director was not enough for them. They went the extra mile, risking litigation, to post lies on the Internet. That they continue to defend my narcissism shows what true friends they are. Thank you, all.

I also want to say that I have moved on. I feel that damaging Mr. Cullen with libel and having my friends lead an Internet witch hunt has harmed Mr. Cullen enough that the genie cannot be put back in the bottle so it is now time for me to move on to my next victim. Thanks to everyone who helped spread the distortions. I may need to call on you again when I viciously attack another innocent person.

90% combined her fault/race director's. For the nth time (reiterated by dozens here), the video shows that she was in the wrong lane, and going backwards. She impeded his progress (as well as the other finisher with that bunch of kids at the end), and she almost collided with the old guy heading out. The race course should have had some dividers, at least in the frist/last 200 meters of the run.

10% Mr. Cullen. He probably could have avoided contact, although it would have broken his stride.

The race director loses big points for DQing Cullen and then going on to Slowtwitch, defending his actions, and also lying about the extent of injury and lane usage.

Slowtwitch and Dan Empfield lose by closing down the thread after the video came out and the race directors untruths were exposed. What an idiot!

Dang, you had to mention marathon on a track. Now Alison is going to want to do that. Imagine her veering off to the stands 104 times for hugs and kisses and photo ops, and then backtracking all the way back to lane 1. She will almost certainly get lapped, and will probably will win too, after all the other competitors punch her and get DQ'd. She's gonna invite all the people in the stands to run the final lap with her

Not knocking the athletism or ability of either.Checking results online he ran 37:15 10K earlier this year, she did apparently did a 5 mile in 32:27. Those are equivalent to 17:44 and 19:30, respectively. Not world beaters but solid, especially in this the age of the hobby jogger where the median is 26-28 minute 5Ks and everybody is a winner.But that picture, and the video are sooooo funny!!!!! Not to mention Charles the blogger.

Understood. You feel victimized because anyone with an internet connection now can know you're a first class turd (family, friends, and employer included) if they know where to look. The Genie is out as you say, so next time don't hit a chick (or do a quick check to make sure you're not being filmed) and situation avoided.

She actually ran that 5 miler in 31:02, but stopped to hug and kiss family and pose for photos. Assembling all those kids 100 yards from the finish also cost her a few seconds

When did Alison hit a chick, and is there a video?

Don't you lecture me, Mr. Man. I am a normal person. I don't sign up for races to race. I do these races to pose for pictures. That is why normal people do these. The elites need to pull themselves out of their narcissism and realize there are normal people on the course who are just there to been seen by their friends and have their photos taken for their blogs.

There are more important things at a race than your time or placing. I helped a deaf man out of the water. I am not sure why being deaf has any affect on getting out of the water but apparently it does, and I helped him. That is the type of person I am. None of the elites would have even noticed this man was struggling with his impairment.

I am also a vegan. I made sure there are no animal products used in my running shoes. Did you do that? I bet not. Egotists like you are too wrapped up in their pace to care. This planet is being destroyed, and you elites need to start caring about it instead of a finish line. Race locally, think globally. That's what I always say.

Here's another question for you Alison, I was in the car park backing out from between two vehicles and I couldn't see what was coming either side of them. So, I backed out very slowly, bit by bit (unlike yourself) so any vehicle coming would be able to see me and stop to let me out. But guess what, one didn't, we collided and in law I was in the wrong for not paying due care and attention and had to pay up. Alison, should I appeal?
