Let's get something straight. Anchorage should be ranked 12th-15th and Chico should be ranked 8th.

You guys are absolute f'ing morons. Anchorage is ranked 6th because they deserve to be ranked sixth, not because their assistant coach happens to be the person who does the rankings!!!!
Chico always finishes in the top 8 at least, but with Bauhs in uniform and one hell of a supporting cast what is your argument for not ranking them in the top 5?
Again, Anchorage has a great team and if their 5 man pulls through and runs like he should they are a top 6 team, hence the ranking. Even if their 5 choked they have good enough backup to finish in the top 8.
I suppose while we are at it, WWU does not deserve to be ranked 12th, despite finishing 11th last year and having pretty much the same team this year? Are all the west region teams overranked? Or are we going to see more of that same stuff from you central region assholes about how all these west coast teams are overranked but finish higher than their rank at nationals?

i dont get it :( .. Chico was 6th last year (with a really bad performance, only one all-american) how do u assume they wont get 6th or better this year.

What is your justification for Anchorage being ranked out of the top 10? They had 4 in the top 15 at the west regional.
West Region puts 3 in top ten. Chico and UAA run their races for 4th and 7th, respectively, and WWU runs well, finishing ahead of their place last year (which puts them 10th).
To the other guy, I will retract my "central region" statement. I did not mean to say that it was only central region people talking. And I never mentioned anything about where teams in the central region placed, so I don't know why you brought that up.

Yeah the whole west sucks.
Chico sucks. Bauhs didn't beat the old D2 10k record by that much last year. Marquez doesn't deserve to be running because he was only 2nd at track nationals last spring. Wickman is so weak that he redshirted track last year. A redshirt! His 3:46 shouldn't count for anything. Scanlon only has one all-american honor so he is nothing.
Anchorage sucks. Any team whose #4 guy only finished 26th at xc nationals last year sucks. They shouldn't be allowed to even run this year. Cheseto can barely break 24. WEAK.
Western Washington sucks. We should keep them out too. They were only 11th at nationals last year. Completely disgraceful.
The west is so luck that more central teams. Go Adams! Go Western! Go Mankato! Go Mines! Go Metro! Go whoever got 6th!
