Slava, you did an easy run yesterday instead of
LT intervals 15x800 @02:36, rec w/120.
And your HR went up a little up / tempo slightly slower at the end (after 8km?)
There was however a little incline toward the end if i looked at it correctly.
Maybe better to do incline first and (little bit) downhill back an option? It was back and forth :)
Calves better?
Just registered the handle because , hehe :) this is me the magic wizard!!
I post with many names to lie to people.

You must understand my magic system is not for every body to understand. :)
My athletes acheive great results quickly. Almost like magic!
When my runners fail it's their fault. Not mine.
When Sammy Nyokaye wins a race I write on his Facebook.
He finished 49 th in mountain championchips I don't write nothing on his facebook because it doesn't look good for my system.

I can inform you it`s absolutely impossible to run the marathon sub one hour, unless you are standing on all fours with wheels applied and some form of engine! ))

This is Wizard aka Alfie talking over Slava about hilltraining
SUPERIOR COACH JS wrote:

JS, Slava says you must run lots of hills, am I correct in thinking that you don't think hills are necessary?
Who is the coach, me or Slava? : ))
Well........according to my coaching during now 5 years of Kenyan and South African cross-country winners there is only need for hill-reps if preparing for a special hilly cross-country or road race . To run the fastest you can at flat surface is mainly a question of the 3 most important factors, the maxVO2 pace, the lactate threshold pace and the so called aerobic power pace ( Long Steady Distance). Doesn`t matter how strong you are at hills if you don`t have what it takes when it comes to the cardio vascular system.
Alfie aka Wizard about my remark over somewhat higher HR

Hi Slava, your average hr on the easy runs are good.
Presumably you start off with a really low hr, and your hr will climb above the average. What is your max hr, typically on the easy runs?
Do you try to cap the max hr on an easy run, or are you only concentrating on pace?
My max hr during easy runs is usually not going more than 75% of max HR. 151 - it is high, but by feeling, I felt good during this 2 days run on land. Some muscles after treadmill do not work properly as we wanted.
During easy run I concentrate usually on hr, breeze and stable rythm, these 2 days while running I kept only pace as a feeling was good.
If pulse will be the same high, of course we will reduce pace.
And you really believe that he will say over himself he is a liar?

You lie as always )) 3k tt on a treadmill in 9:25
In a race he had already run faster than 9:15
His 5k close to 16 minutes, he was already at that pace
I had a magic time, if i just registered my name :)

Hi Slava,
So this is now your second injury in three weeks, with a coach who has never had an injury before?
Just think about this, logically please.
Wishing you all the very best; off to Spain myself on Tuesday to catch a ship.......

Well.......you got to know what a real injury is, and little pain in calf muscles isn`t . Just an overexertion in the event of change in running technique.
By the way the light pain is gone now and Slava ready to go 100% again. :)

Well......I think you knew I would chim in when you did this thread, lol .
I say nothing except give you this to think about.........An USA high school kid hired me last summer
for a couple of months on SOJS ( summer of J.S ) . His former PB at 5 k before my coaching high 18.....after my coaching low 17 in first fall race( and he told it felt like there was more energy left). Make your own assessment based on this.......
If interested just contact me and I will give you the name of the runner so you can contact him and ask him about the training he did with me.
- Your special Santa -
That kid you were coaching had no business running the type of workouts you had him running in the summer. You just throw the same stimulus at every runner, no matter what their ability or level. You never admit mistakes and ignore the people who call you out for lies.
If you're good at what you do, business is good. If you're great at what you do, you stay as busy as you want. You claim to be one of the world's best coaches, yet you have to make fake posts on here and people won't even let you coach them for free.
If Canova or a real coach was on here and offered free coaching or even paid coaching, the board would go crazy. Yet, you throw yourself on here with no shame but only get negative attention.

You don`t know what you are talking about ;) I have coached people from the boards for free and many runners that opposed to you have realized my experience and knowledge as a coach and former national elite runner.
Canova has been a coach for almost 50 years and I only 5. He is of course one of the big coaches in history. What I need is to find more very talented guys & gals to coach that are not connected to any big management or running club and develop them to medalists in WC or OG . I have cooperation with a very good management and manager who fixes races for the best runners. The manager and the runners are very pleased with my coaching effort so far..........

But they are right in that you are an obnoxious troll with your lies and fake handles.
Oh and you were never elite ;)
"They" as you say are of course one of your many stalking handles that calls me a liar. ;)
.....and I told I was a national ( Swedish) elite runner. ( 6th at Swedish Champs marathon and 7th at Swedish 10000m Champs, also 2 silver in Swedish XC Champs for club teams and one individual gold at Swedish Master XC Champs.....placed 18th among 72 European elite runners in the Europa Cup 10 miles for club teams in Verona 1988 ).......of course I was national elite runner.
