I'm over 50 and haven't been carded in a bar for 30 years (and I've been in LOTS of bars because I'm a musician who has played in lots of bars...and I always buy ONE beer on gig nights). I was recently carded at Kroger when buying a bottle of wine by some punk who thought I would find it flattering. It's just ridiculous to card a guy in his 50s.
Since we are talking about how people live without an ID, it's relevant that nothing on that list actually requires a photo ID except to legally drive a car, and arguably "Purchase nail polish at CVS".
I'm pretty sure you can do everything else, one way or another, without an ID.
I can't vote without an id. I can't buy alcohol or cigarettes without an id. I can't buy sudafed either without one.
