He changed the law so that fat cats could pass more money tax free to their children. He also made it so high tax states could not write off all their taxes as deductions there by increasing their taxes, but since the standard deduction was increased low tax states got a tax reduction. GREAT FALLS — A Tennessee man accused of mailing fentanyl pills to a Great Falls couple that led to the overdose death of the husband admitted to a trafficking crime today, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said.
The defendant, Malice Clark, Jr., aka Greg Clark, aka “Greed”, 57, of Memphis, Tennessee, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. Clark faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, a $1 million fine and at least three years of supervised release.

Uninsured rates among Black, Hispanic, Asian and Native Americans plummeted between 2010 and 2022, according to reports released Friday by the Health and Human Services Department, as more patients gained health coverage from the Affordable Care Act’s marketplaces, Medicaid and employer plans.

The uninsured rate among Black Americans dropped to just under 11 percent from roughly 21 percent, while the rate among Hispanic Americans dropped even more, to 18 percent from almost 33 percent. Among Asian Americans, the rate fell to just over 6 percent from nearly 17 percent, and among Native Americans to roughly 20 percent from more than 32 percent.

I can rarely, if ever, see or hear about LBJ and not remember that he was awarded a COMPLETELY unjustified Silver Star (third highest award for valor) for going along for a ride in a combat airplane (bomber, I think) in WWII. OK, prominent people sometimes get things they don't deserve. And sure, they often or always ought to reject them. But if the story stopped there, I wouldn't still think of it.
