There is no point in trying to impeach Donald Trump. He needs to be defeated at the ballot box, and even that will be difficult if things continue the way they are going. "The Squad" and impeachment talk both need to be shut down. Dems are only hurting themselves.
Dems are losing bigly in the midwest by arguing about things like reparations, forgiving all college debt, health care plans that force you off private insurance, etc. These are all losing ideas for hard working people.
I do hope the Democrats learn to play hardball a bit better. It's amazing how they can't even call out the blatant hypocrisy that comes from the Republican party.
Reparations and forgiving all college debt are both idiotic ideas that very much should be losing ideas (not sure about the gratuitous and basically meaningless "hard working people" add-on).
But Medicare for all should not be lumped with those. It would improve the health of the nation's people while saving an absolutely enormous amount of money in the process. When presented accurately it is a big time winning idea.

Indirectly, 63 million.
.
You know, given that the Trump Administration appointed him.
If that is the case then Trump could legally have fired him, the President can fire any person employed by the executive branch (except the VP). Replacing the sacked employees, now that is the problem,

CORRECT!
Listening to Pelosi this evening, it is 100% clear that the House is ultimately going to go forward with impeachment.
She said they are still waiting for the courts to make some decisions on some subpoenas, but that they won't wait forever. The reason they are waiting is to get the strongest hand they (the House) possibly can and that even if her Senate colleagues ultimately acquit, the stronger hand they have the worse those who vote to acquit will look.
So, the most-likely scenario now is that they WILL wait until after the recess, but impeachment is going to happen 100% for sure. Nadler was there as she spoke. Cummings and Schiff were there. It's going to happen...as I have long said.
AND to circle back to the beginning of this post, Trump IS going to go to prison. You Trumpers are fools.
There are only two reasons why a non-elected person still supports Trump today:
1) JUST stupid.
2) Racist.
There are no other possibilities.
3) Democrats have a bad candidate or the left's vote gets split by a populist/socialist third candidate.
Btw, there are other threads on this site Flagpole.

Medicare for all should won't be affordable with open borders and free health care for illegals. And a disproportionate amount will go to the largest 5 cities not to people in Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire and Wisconsin. They in turn will utilize their power under a electoral college and vote in a Trump-like figure.

And after Mueller finds no collusion...
He might not find collusion (conspiracy). I think the chances of that are pretty low though at this point, but that IS the hardest of the things against him to get nailed down.
In order of probability:
1) Money Laundering and Obstruction of Justice tied for first place.
2) Perjury (if he actually talks to Mueller without some huge ridiculous restrictions...Trump just can not tell the truth, and it not suit him to tell the truth here because that would incriminate himself, so he will lie. That lie will be discovered and proven, so Perjury will be the charge.
3) Conspiracy against the United States. I believe that he has done this, but we will have to see if there's enough evidence to charge him with it. IF there isn't, I will state that he is innocent of that, and I won't even say that we all know he did it...I will simply accept the ruling of the investigators.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
Here is a former post of Flagpole. No Money laundering was found. No perjury. No conspiracy. There WAS NOT enough evidence to charge Trump with conspiracy against the United States. Flagpole said, "If there isn't, I (Flagpole) will state that he is innocent of that...I (Flagpole) will accept the ruling of the investigators." Did Flagpole ever say that Trump was innocent? Did he ever accept the ruling of investigators? Of course not, Flagpole never does anything that he promises. He is a 100% weasel. Just an embarrassment to you Liberals.

Your #3 makes no sense. There is no Democrat candidate who is anywhere near as bad as Trump, and a vote split has nothing to do at all with what I said.

That's called stalling for time and she isn't fooling anyone. There is a zero percent chance of success in the Senate and impeachment in the House would only hurt Democrats chances in 2020 and she knows it. The voters that they need to win in the next election cycle are begging them to move on and just forget it.

It is clear that Robert Mueller has aged a lot recently. Bad optics for sure yesterday, something I have already said. This though has nothing to do with his work product, the convictions his investigation has garnered, the many ongoing investigations that came from his (and his team's) discoveries and the clear Obstruction of Justice incidents against Trump as detailed in the report (a report I have read and most of you have not).
The House WILL vote to impeach Trump.
Trump will lose in 2020.
Trump will go to prison...unless he dies first or criminal or space alien behavior prevent it.
Mueller is still coming (and will be as long as those investigations that began in his office continue...even if he dies first).
The clown is done.
Shame on those of you supporting a dictator wannabe. You Trumpers are the most unpatriotic people I have seen in my lifetime. Shameful.

1) As it looks now, I agree with you that the Senate is not likely to convict Trump. Dangerous and shameful is what the current Republican Party has become.
2) I disagree that impeachment in the House would hurt Democrats. No evidence to support that at all. Clinton was a different deal...he was liked, and his impeachment was viewed by most as a self-righteous Christian right going after him for getting a BJ from someone who wasn't his wife. Trump's transgressions are MUCH more serious. (and, just as a reminder, I thought Clinton should have been removed from office for the perjury and obstruction of justice.)
3) Polls are all favoring Democrats. Independents are against Trump. Trump is the one who needs to gain votes, and it's just not going to happen. He is doing very poorly in the rust belt states that he so desperately needs to win again. He won't (again, unless he cheats again or there is some other kind of criminality or space aliens make him win).
4) Not sure what you mean "stalling for time." You can explain yourself or not. I tend to think that was just a nonsense sentence that you for some reason put in there. There is no stalling (and to what benefit if she were?). She was very clear...they are waiting to get as much supporting evidence for the impeachment proceedings as they can, but she said they will not wait forever. The impeachment proceedings will happen. The House WILL impeach him. The strength of the evidence against Trump will determine how badly history will view the Senators who vote to acquit.
He WILL be impeached.
He WILL go to prison.

We've been through this, brother. You PROVED it was a bet.
Sorry. I won't bet you. It's low class.
Same arguments, different election.
The right is always a bunch crazy hillbillies clinging to guns and religion or old rich people out of touch/
The left is always a bunch of baby killing socialists.
The argument is the same in 2020 as it was in 2016, 2012, 2008, 2004, 2000, 1996, 1992.....
The voters who decide an election are typically uneducated about the issues and policy. They vote in gut and likeability. If Dems put up a candidate that has a likeability rating higher than Clinton they win. Policy doesn't matter.
Beyond that it's about making sure your strongest supporters, your base, gets to the polls.
And like I've said....100% chance Trump loses. It won't be close. If he wins I leave Letsrun.
