Since the majority of posters here likely skipped Trump's appearance on Hannity last night, here's a recap:
* He said he willing to go to jail to prove a point.
* He reaffirmed his anti-drug stance and brought up hid alcoholic brother, who died from his condition.
* He split the difference on abortion and affirmed that individual states should decide the issue. (In a one-off, he revealed his nickname for Gavin Newsome, should Newsome step in for Biden: Gavin "Newscum." We are in Garbage Pail Kids territory here, folks).
* Obligatory "Biden is old and senile" segment. Trump wisely reminds Fox News audience that Biden is the commander-in-chief, but fails to mention that the inevitability of WWIII depends on Congress, not the President. Trump tries to split the difference again by saying "I'm an environmentalist. I want clean air and clean water." but Trump wants Biden to explain how global warming is an "existential threat." (Wise gambit...the population of Vermont might disagree, but Trump ain't winning their vote, anyway.)...October 7 attacks and inflation "wouldn't have happened" under Trump. Again...well played. We'll never know because it's a hypothetical, and it does the hard but necessary work of polarizing the electorate.
Lastly, Trump blames the squad ("AOC plus three") for the Dems embrace of Palestine over Israel. This is 4-D chess, folks...he's not winning young progressives, and, at this rate, neither is Biden. What he *is* doing is taking a clear side and not straddling the fence, like Biden.
