I think everyone is over-reacting to the so-called "feud". There is no feud among house Democrats. There is no revolt.

There is just a difference of opinion where certain members line up on different sides of some issues. This is something you see in every congress.

Tiny is trying to sow division. It's not working.

Nancy Pelosi just announced a resolution condemning Tiny's racist statements about "the squad". Nothing unites like a common enemy.

Recognizing a problem is one thing and we can all agree that Trump sucks @ss but if all you do is offer an endless stream of cynicism and name calling without offering any solutions then you're really doing anything differently than Fox News, and that's the tyranny of the outrage machine really. They want conservatives to be outraged almost as much as they want liberals to be outraged, because outrage sells, and when everyone is mad, business is good. Racket, are you sure you are in the right thread? You are making too much sense. I say that jokingly but seriously much of what you say is very reasonable. This thread is like the pits and nice to have someone say something commonsensical.

Mostly just kind of curious because I really see Democrats falling for all the same tricks they fell for in 2016. I'd really like the US to actually progress and Trump is at best, stagnating the country while it tries to maneuver on auto-pilot in my opinion.

You watch Morning joe and MSNBC and ALL the polls show every Democratic candidate beating one-on-one Trump handily. For Morning Joe and Mika and everyone else it is a done deal. Trump loses to every Democratic candidate. It is comical how they portray each and every candidate soundly defeating Trump. The real experts know something else.

If you haven’t noticed, the solution being offered is to get rid of trump, because nothing constructive can be achieved under him. We can then go back to focusing on all the broken government issues. Trump has been overplaying his hand thinking it’s much stronger than it actually is. He and supporters refuse to acknowledge he won with a tiny margin. At least recently he has acknowledged (accidentally at least) that he won with Russian help. I get him wanting to attack any person on the left that speaks out, he thinks that’s what made Hillary so disliked. Sure the lock her up chants got his people fired up, but had zero impact on Dem voters. She was a shady candidate to begin with and ran a very weak campaign. There is endless hate ammo to use since trump took office. Get real, that’s a huge strategic tool.

Check the other side too.. according to FOX trump is the GOAT POTUS. Does that mean republican voters will be complacent believing he will win easily anyway? The people who watch FOX and CNN/MSNBC are going to vote their party ticket no matter what, these people are not pondering what their political affiliation is. This all sounds like you would like Warren to win. She is the one with solutions. I still don't know who I will vote for, but if the primary were held today I would go with Warren.

And, btw, I just offered a solution to the immigration crisis and got no response. Nobody seemed to care one way or the other. But if I say something like, "Tiny is terrible at business", the thread goes wild.

So maybe this isn't the best thread to look for policy discussion. It would be nice if it was though.
