Pleas sweet Jesus tell us it's over!!!!!!
Doubter said he got a message earlier today that says they are going to continue, but not for the record.
OK then I hope his foot falls off for lying! Cheaters never succeed!

I don't know about that. Lance Armstrong succeeded for 7 years straight and is still pretty rich from all his sponsorships and speaking fees at "charities". The lesson that Rob should be teaching to kids is that if you cheat, cheat with your full ass.
Someone coming to pick it up?
Gas and living expenses are needed when you crew "Run with us america" for the 100 mile club. Not to be confused with "Race Across The Usa" for 100 mile club. For the children.
Separate request for funds from one of the people involved (Vanessa Rodriguez, aka Vanessa Runs), in the "Run With Us America".
Separate from the requests for charity donations for this endurance feat. For the children.

If they were smart, as soon as this caught on and people were calling for boots on the ground, they would have created a dummy account (on this terrible website, seriously this thread would have HALF as much BS if you actually had to register) and posed as someone "following" the RV and posting "evidence" of him running.
Maybe next time
Wrong re the registering bit, go check the Rossi thread. Anyway, what's wrong with a bit of trolling, banter and BS or are you another one of those ultra types who take themselves way too seriously?
Fortunately we didn't take this ultra cheat Young too seriously, BS or no BS.

He still claims he will release the data but I have my doubts.
Hi Lindley. Nice job you're doing there. You're being harsh with him but not so harsh that he doesn't answer.
I don't think anyone believes he will release the complete data. But try to get him to a multi-day race. It would be great to see how fast he is rested and hopefully with a good pacing strategy.

Perhaps a waste of time; perhaps off-base, but...
Dear Mr. Young,
Now that your USA transcon record attempt is over, I would like to share a
few thoughts with you.
Whether you know it or not, whether you understand it or not, you were given
a great gift. You just received perhaps the best introduction to and
coaching for multiday running that anyone could wish for. I'd venture that
any ultrarunner at all interested in running multidays would give
practically anything to have Gary Cantrell, Ray Kroelwicz and Bill Schultz
spend a week watching them run and giving their help and advice.
By the accounts they have shared, you are an ultrarunner with real ability,
and with real heart and determination. By their accounts, you could be
pretty good at multiday running if you showed up to some races and worked at
it. Also by their accounts though, you are not the ultrarunner you have
claimed to be. Few of us who do these things were surprised to learn that.
Your claims were incredible and they were not believed by those who know
(except for a few of the most accepting, trusting souls among us).
You were given a great gift. You also now have a great opportunity.
I do not know what demons drove you to fabricate these incredible stories of
your life. Ultrarunning is a sport liberally populated by people running
from demons though - a great collection of misfits of one sort or another.
You have come to one of the most open and accepting communities on this
planet. You may not think so right now, after the blistering you have taken
in the past few weeks. We are tough on those who cut corners, on those who
try to claim the honor without suffering in the trenches with everyone else,
but (even now) if you simply put that behind you and show up at some races
as the regular guy that you are, run with us, suffer with us, and show us
your real heart, you will be accepted among us. Perhaps not by all, but
certainly by many. You will find support and encouragement among us, and you
will earn respect for what you have really done. Though I can only really
speak for myself, I do believe these things to be true.
My hope is that this appeals to you. By all accounts you are an extremely
nice and likeable guy, and I believe I would enjoy meeting you, and perhaps
sharing some time running in endless circles with you somewhere. I hope you
will consider giving us a try.
Yours very sincerely,
Patrick McHenry

What a piece of emotional crap! Are you and the author so gullible that you think RY and his gang will suddenly come clean? Or are you just trying to profile yourselves as Great Humans?
The ultra community: "the most open and accepting communities on this planet." Your self-indulgence is repugnant. I hope RY and other fraudsters continue to swindle you and drag your hobby through the mud. With the ridiculous naiveness you display you deserve every ounce of it.
Yeah, this guy sounds slightly dopey. To be fair though, most of what you read on the ultralist pertaining to RY, although much more civilized than here, is not nearly as forgiving or clueless.
I couldn't give a crap if he is cheating.
The big concern to me is that he is soliciting money under false pretense. This equates to fraud. His gofundme account is literally cheating people out of their money which should, at the very least, return all the donations and cop a big fine, community service etc.
Can we actually prove he cheated. If so he should return this money.

When was the last time a 3h marathoner got an award in Monaco?
Jessica Hardy making separate request from the regular "donate to the charity for the endurance feat" requests for "Run With Us America" to benefit 100 mile club. For the children. This is to get jup brown a flight home.

It will be interesting to see what SKINS does now. SKINS as a company has called out others for corruption and cheating in sports, yet they are not just paying for this guy to cheat his way across the US, they are attempting to profit from it - after all, they are continuing to give RY some nice real estate on the Skins.net home page, with a Robert Young Hero shot sandwiched right between images of their products and a store finder.
"Working with Perfect Storm, sports performance clothing manufacturer SKINS unleashed their purpose by challenging what is harming the sports industry – corruption and cheating. Movements to date have included an anti-doping campaign fronted by disqualified Olympic sprinter Ben Johnson, and challenging the corruption of footballing body FIFA by becoming its self-appointed non-sponsor. The objective? To re-ignite the true spirit of competition and show the power of sport to truly change lives for the better."
Post your comments on the Skins blog. I'm sure they'd love to discuss this, given their strong opinions about cheating. I posted mine:
"It is admirable that Skins is taking a strong stance against cheating. Taking that into consideration, how seriously will Skins take the many allegations of cheating against their sponsored athlete, Robert Young?"

Seriously? They just abandoned the RV and got the hell out of Dodge? That would be hilarious if the RV just sits there for the next month or so with the tracker running until the RV battery dies.

It's been on 64% for ages. I think the tracker has been turned off and it's just reporting the last data point.

I know a few folks who considered the Race Across the USA. The contract was ridiculous. It basically said that if we don't like you then we will kick you out and we can change the rules anytime we want to. There was no support for hotels or food. Runners were required to have their own support crew and food. And that each runner was supposed to guarantee at least $5000 in donations "for the children."

Looks like you are right. The tracker page shows the last update at 17 June 2016 16:36:24 with 64% charge. So they did turn off the tracker. I'm betting that it will show them magically in Ohio when they do turn it back on.
