Potentially Suspicious Runner To Run 836 Miles in 9 Days for "Charity"

The tracker shows Dave going at 15.42 mph right now. What a joke. He still won't be able to complete the route by bike since Dave also lied about literally have "run" a triathlon. We will be watching Dave do a lot of RV riding. And where are those pictures and videos from the pro photog showing Dave doing anything? I don't trust a word of any of these scammers.

You know, the "charity" angle cuts both ways here.

By coming up so short on day one, and switching to cycling on just day two, Dave is dishonoring wounded veterans. Wounded vets deal with serious physical adversity. What message is Dave sending them by backing down over a case of sore feet? What kind of example is he setting for them and for the children? When the going gets tough, give up on your goals, even if it's just day two?

When you're doing something on behalf of wounded veterans, many of whom lost limbs in the fight, you don't get to wuss out because your feet hurt. If you do, you are spitting in their face.

Remember he had to miss 11 miles because no bikes? The photos show a bike diversion, he could have used that.

I think it has become clearly obvious that Dave never actually walked/run any of those epic training runs he claimed to have done. The plan all along, before we caught him, was to ride in the RV going at 7-8 mph and not actually do any significant amount of running.

Yes, which was the real genius of having a mattress sponsor as his primary sponsor. Think about it, if you're going to be driven that slowly over that many miles, you really want a mattress to be lying on. A free mattress.

Terrie posted some pictures of the supposed traffic diversion that "forced" Dave to ride in the RV. Is it just me or do the pictures not show the road is still open and there is not that much traffic?

It is interestingly cropped to not show much but if my life depended on it I could probably squeeze through on foot with a bit of native wit and cunning.

But that makes it worse, because now he is letting down not just himself, but all the wounded warriors. Giving up on his goal so quickly just because of sore feet dishonors the wounded veterans he is (ostensibly) doing this for, many of whom face face greater adversity than some blisters. For shame.
