Freshman almost always get redshirted. Bauhs was really one of the few exceptions.
You people that are not Simmons fans. It does not really matter what you do all year long, as long you show up to the national, and put all the work youv'e done to good use! Also, they are going to show you a surprise like they did last year. Just you wait and see. I would not be surprised if they pulled off the unthinkable, but beating adams might be out of the question this year, but a third place finish is well in there reach considering they race their best at the national meet.

Very well said.

Nothing is like Adams State. Adams is a complete utterly joke academically.
because if you redshirt them then they are going to be a lot better that next year anyways. And putting him into an already deep squad wouldnt do much. it would be somewhat of a wasted season, when he could otherwise compete at a much higher level later on in his college career.
Queens is definitely a top 8 team. I've seen all of the results from every region. Queens #5 is still All-American Ryan Connelly from last year. The Southeast Region has changed and they are going to start getting some respect now. On a regional course that is typically slower than every National Championship course every year, Queens put their top 5 between 30:57 and 32:30 or so. All placing in the top 7 of the region. I say that their top 5 will be between 30:00 and 31:30 at Nationals, placing them in the top 8.
The southeast region will not get respect now. Queen's will get respect because they have earned it but the region does not deserve it. All it means is more than likely 2 crappy teams will be at nationals from that region next year unless they change the qualifying system this year.
How slow is Queens regional course?
why does adams have to drive to slippery rock? do we not have airplanes that could fly them there?
Weather says rain or snow for the next 8 days through Nationals in Slippery Rock. I would not plan for a very fast course. In fact it should be a cold, wet, muddy, or snowy mess! Just the way we like it.
meh. mid 30's with snow showers. not that big of a deal.
Perfect tailgating weather.
adams is driving cause they spent their whole budget on anti gravity treadmills, one for each varsity member... id drive across the country for one too
mmm, I sure could go for a brat and an 'MDG'.
What a beach party! BYOB! No kiwi lager though. We are sunbathing and doing barbeque here. The weather has been unusually good for training this fall. We are ready.
I thought the NCAA flew and put up the teams that qualified for nationals, not the school itself

They give you a per diem for miles driven which you can make $$$ on if you drive from say, Alamosa.

You can only drive if you're within 500miles. Adams will FLY to Slippery Rock.
Concordia will win
