Feels like we've barely gotten to see any of the women's 5000 so far with all of the cuts to commercials and field events
Well go live with the show at 6:30 pm ET.

Nico ran the hardest/worst race possible and still made it—speaks well for his strength—must have ran another 200m bouncing around.
This. I still think Nico is more dangerous at 5K worlds than the 10K.
& Nuguse should have run a 5K earlier to get the qualifier to run that race.
Ritz has some answering to do.

ya. just didn't expect her to show up after the airport incident came out. Good that she's trying to stay focused on racing and getting in the reps.
Airport incident or not, she would not have qualified for the 200M.
Has it not occurred to either you or her, that acting out or not in the airport was within her full control?

This women's 5k is deep...gonna be a mad 2 last laps.
Rodenfels getting things going with some 73s, it won't be as much of a jogfest as it has been so far

Kenny literally had a hard up bring, I won't mess with him
He grew up in Rice Lake, WI.

How can you not be a Cole Hocker fan?
agreed. Cole Hocker is a track guy's track guy. The type of guy other runners admire. Cole Hocker is freakin awesome, man. The guy just gets the job done, some how some way. Bro is just a winner.

I mean, please expand on this
Andrews in lane 2 and near the back. Oh, boy.
I’m nervous for Josette.

USATF & NBC have probably the worse coverage of athletics in the world.
I’ve been okay with Lyles toolish antics but I would also 100% look the other way if Kenny slapped some sense into him

He literally isn't. That 5k was the first race he's won since the Olympics. He occasionally gets it right when other runs open up the inside lanes.

Have Kenny and Lyles always disliked each other? I haven’t really seen Kenny act like this but Lyles is usually a showboat. Is Kenny just tired of it?
I think a lot of US sprinters are tired of it. Kenny, Coleman, Knighton, and Kerley all seem to dislike Lyles.

Poor Robert Gregory haha no one will remember he came 3rd
He was chilling during the interview while tension was thick between Lyles and Bednarek. Good PR 19.80 for him

There's a burrito truck pacing them
Where’s Parker Valby when you need her?
Grant should have like 7 US titles by now. He’s been the best guy in the country since 2021 and has only attempted to control 3 of the 9 races he’s run
Tuohy dropped at this pathetic pace.
probably nothing she can do, but needs to roll the dice and move on from NC St. coaching.
Shelby will make the team.
