According to a report released Wednesday, the team is tops in the league in terms of social media engagement, video views, followers gained and total followers. Between April 15 and July 19, it even beat all other teams across the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB in team-produced video consumption with 800 million views, the Fever said. Only MLS’ Inter Miami performed better among U.S. teams.
Look at the expression on Caitlin's face. She already getting bored with the league and hates having to keep a fake enthusiasm for her fans.
Caitlin Clark started fast and finished with 29 points and 10 assists while Kelsey Mitchell scored 28 points to help the Fever fend off a furious second-half rally from the Mercury for a critical 98-89 victory.
One Indiana basketball staple paid tribute to another at their shared stadium on Friday night. Indiana Pacers superstar Tyrese Haliburton attended Friday night's Indiana Fever game against the Phoenix Mercury, one where rooki...
Even without Caitlin Clark and the Fever, the WNBA topped the million viewer mark yet again with a matchup of the defending champion Aces against Angel Reese and the Sky.
So Clark beats the boys numbers again just like last season's National Championship game. whatever happened to those people who insisted her popularity would drop off a cliff as soon as she stepped foot into the WNBA? guess their hiding behind the crickets...
Also of note was something I saw a few days ago for the guy who insists she cant make a three pointer even though the line is "closer" than in the NBA: she is 16 for 44 from 30+ feet. thats 36%. the rest of the entire league is 14 for 142. she is also 31 for 80 since the Olympic break. thats 39% which is above the league average for sure. and thats including all the 30+ foot shots... and now 90% from the free throw line. so what happened to "cant shoot"?

A hell of a quick learning curve. She's better than I thought she'd be. I figured Bueckers would be a better prospect; I'm not too sure anymore.

A great era for the WNBA and women's basketball.
Oh Im sure the Sparks are drooling about drafting Bueckers. Shes a legit monster prospect as well. assuming they can stay in last place. I know she would have preferred to go to Washington or Seattle to join old teammates but I think she would fit well in LA. she already has the celebrity thing down pretty well. every time I turn around there she is on social media attending some game with the cameras on her. was just at the US Open the other day cheering on Tiafoe.

oh does the San Francisco team get the first pick? I thought they were getting their players via expansion draft from the regular teams. well poor LA...

Her 3 pt. Is 32% - she can't shoot besides free throws.

Actually, I'm not sure. I'm hoping the Golden State team, not any other gets that 1st pick. LA will be a formidable team if they get Bueckers she fits there perfectly.

34.3% actually. and are you just going to ignore everything I said there and just repeat the same tired old line? are you saying her shooting hasnt improved since the break?

Not sure if those details have been announced yet. I found this article from July 30, which said the team was awaiting information on how the expansion draft would work. The last time the WNBA had an expansion team, they gave that team the 4th, 18th, and 32nd picks in the regular draft.
