Don't take this too wrong (OK, take it as wrongly as you want), but I think you're just trying to deflect from the suspicious London effort. Let the Let's Run investigators delve into the splits and photo evidence.

The fact that this guy "ran" a 3:07 in the middle of a run across America, plus did an interview, points to shenanigans.

I also think that you'll get little traction drawing interest to some of those esoteric multi-day running records. Show that he cheated at the London marathon and you have internet clicks. Just ask Doubler.

All that running for an endless buffet.

If they were smart, as soon as this caught on and people were calling for boots on the ground, they would have created a dummy account (on this terrible website, seriously this thread would have HALF as much BS if you actually had to register) and posed as someone "following" the RV and posting "evidence" of him running.

But on the other hand (a) there is a fair bit of corroborating evidence for the marathon and (b) it is pretty much in line with his parkrun times 18.55-> 3.01.

He could have faked everything of course but that would take ludicrous amounts of effort to keep all his pbs in sync.

His GPS data would still give him away and my BS flag would still go up just from his pro cycling claims. And then we would start questioning who this person is that seems to be following them endlessly and pop up in convenient places.

And have you seen how much BS is posted on his Facebook pages where you register? Registering doesn't do much. People will still post BS.

I think they've abandoned the RV and skipped town, all going in different directions. Rob is probably back in the UK.

I don't think his London 26 April 2015 time of 3:07 is fake. What looks fake is that he ran that marathon PB in the middle of a multi-day event in the US, after supposedly running 50 miles in approx 7 hours on 24th April and then taking a flight to London. Also remember the time difference to factor in - by the time he finishes his day's running of 50 miles in the US, it's certainly not a full 48 hours recovery before he runs his marathon PB.

So, I'm calling it that he was cheating on the multi day event in the US, not at London marathon.

Hi I am the Lindley Chambers Rob was replying to. I have been talking to him trying to make his see our concerns and understand what he can do to prove his claims.

He still claims he will release the data but I have my doubts.
