I had been checking the Pikes Peak confirmation list (he declared he was running the ascent months ago), and he wasn't on there after his latest episode, until just a couple of days ago, when he magically appeared. He also put in a fairly epic run up Mt Elbert on Strava the other day.
So I expect he's going for it. Not sure about his future on YouTube though. Last video looked like a temporary sign-off.

I think it'll depend on how Seth does at Pikes. If he wins he'll make a vid about it how locked in he was during his hiatus while being vague about what happened at his Nolan's 14 attempt and his fans will thank him for the transparency regardless and celebrate DGR being back.
If he loses? Maybe he'll do another poncho walk or something.

Maybe seek private healthcare if you want to train like a pro athlete or even harder than one for that matter. I’m sure he’s not soiling himself multiple times a day when not running.
It’s legit insanity that Philly reads this thread and then actions on her social media accordingly. lol we’ve seen it multiple times now. It must be a stressful life she lives mentally lol. I’d be miserable. Worrying so much about running since it’s your online persona and financial livelihood and paranoid about critiques and what people think 24/7. No hate but it honestly seems wildly sad. She would be better off doing less social media and just actually focusing more on running at a highest level. Sadly she won’t do that since she has to continue to be the runfluencer she is and keep up with her style of filming and editing for all her brainwashed fans
The reel she posted on 8.29.25 (which honestly was probably over-sharing despite how many similarly anxious people in the comments lapped it up) about how much anxiety in-person social interactions give her due to an insane amount of self-critique and obsession about how other people perceive her was really telling and just really sad. She does see a therapist I'm pretty sure and that's a good thing for her I honestly think.

Finally got round to watching Philly's latest video.
I felt she was unkind to Daniel. His life is essentially supporting and documenting her running. It doesn't seem like he gets to pursue much else at all.
He cheers her on during a training run. She quite aggressively tells him it was too much cheering and negative to her session
Pretty thoughtless and a bit hurtful to put that in. I'm sure he was just trying to do his "job".

you mean his road sessions kept going poorly so he's moved to exclusively working out on the treadmill so he wont keep slowing down?
He will start too quickly in Berlin thinking he is in sub 2:25 and then end up coming in around 2:35, The same story as the last 2 or 3 marathons he's managed to get to

and what a magnificent half result considering he’s in the middle of yet another 90+ mile week. Superhuman. I’m desperate to know what Kaizen is predicting for his marathon. I’m thinking 2:25. I reckon he will beat Mr Felton to the sub 2:20. Which is crazy really cause if you said that a couple years back people would have said no chance.

Hopefully Ryan runs a decent PB in Berlin, he's put in a solid block and he really should be a bit quicker than his PB of 2:15 high if you compare it to his 5k/10k PBs.
Him and RanToJapan are the only two I find worth watching these days.
