It is interesting to watch the recent activity of Lady Lindsey Graham. HIs pathetic tirade on the Senate floor demanding his one million dollars he was going to extort from the US taxpayers. Now he is with Trump on the golf course and at Trump's super bowl gig with Lindsey Halogen.

Trump gets kompromat on these people and then they need him to stay out of jail. And now he has them. Nobody has turned on Trump because they all need preemptive pardons.

This is gonna get way, way worse.

I have little doubt that there's plenty of validity to your point. But off the top of my head, and principles aside, their behavior makes far less sense than it makes any sense. The proposition for the Lutnicks, Bessents, etc.:

1) Die incredibly rich and not reviled, and give tons to your descendants, who will live in a free, decent nation. Sounds horrible, doesn't it?

2) MAYBE die slightly more incredibly rich, be reviled by many/history, and give tons to your descendants who will live in an un-free, un-democratic, highly corrupt, etc., etc. nation.

ffs people, in NYC garbage bags are always put on the curb for cleanup. That's how you do it. It means nothing. That's a picture that could have been taken any of the previous 30 years.

If there's snow, the bags still have to get thrown out on the curb and picked up.
