One thing I find perplexing about these debates over the next two nights is why the Democrats are afraid of having anything but softball questions lobbed at them by MSNBC far-left hosts. Are they not strong enough or sure enough in their convictions to answer hard questions about their policies and what they might offer the country? Trump never shied away from any hard questions. But these Democratic presidential contenders seem so small and weak when they are not able to take questions from networks a bit more centrist than the far-left MSNBC. Rachel Maddow - really? She is so far left that the ultra left used-to-be-a-great newspaper the NY Times forbade their writers from appearing on her show because she was too radically left. Yet, she is fine and dandy good enough to be one of tonight's moderates. So too Juan Diaz-Balart. The others - Chuck Todd, Savannah G and Lester Holt are a bit more centrist.
Let me stop you in your troll tracks - trump never once answered a single fkn question with a concrete or substantive answer. So it never mattered how tough the questions were, he had nothing partly because he really didn’t have any answers and partly because he knew mouth breathing conservatives expected entertainment and not substance.
Thanks for stopping me in my tracks. I was about to go way off track. Trump maybe never answered every question that you wanted him to answer but he didn't hide like a little high school girl and avoid taking on the grown-up questions. He answered every one. this gang of 24 or whatever has panties on and is too afraid to take on the big boy questions. Just a shame. And I even like a few of them.
