I was deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom II for 15 months. That's about 450 days.
Walz was in the national guard. They serve 2 days a month and 2 weeks in the summer.
That's 36 days a year.
Walz's "24 year career" was less than 3 years of actual service and not 1 second of his was in combat or in a combat zone despite his repeated claims otherwise.
He was in a combat MOS so that's more impressive than nonequals peeling potatoes on a tugboat for 20 years.
