I really like Cole but there is more to life than free Adidas kit. His GI issues and previous burn out period are a massive indication of RED-S, not something to mess around with. Seems like he has been pressured into running Berlin by his sponsors, I believe previous to the Adidas/Start Fitness contract his plan was to run Seville which would have made much more sense post London. Really hope he puts his health first.

I really don't know what it is with you guys being concerned all over the place for these people. On letsrun of all places.

Personally, IDGAF about any of them. They are just randos with a youtube. They provide a bit of entertainment here and there. Some through hate-watching, some because they're a little bit funny. If Cole wants to shiat all over himself for a half PB, I'd say go for it.

These people are grown ass men (Phily excluded, who is still just a boy). If they want to run themselves into the ground, then it's more entertainment for us, imo.

And also, do you really believe they will listen to what "Iffy" from letsrun thinks about their training? Lol!

I prefaced it to indicate that this is very personal opinion (hint: unpopular too). I know that non of you share my view of Spencer, and the dislikes on my comment show this.

after “swearing off marathons” in dozens of follow ups from her London marathon blowup. resiliencyinrunning recently revealed that she is…. Running the Berlin Marathon under a sponsored bib! At the end of her video she blamed Shokz(her sponsor) for only giving her 6-7 weeks to prepare for a marathon she isn’t forced to run. You can never miss your goal if you build in the excuses before you fail

similar to our friend, bloburg, she’s running in a very inspiring way this time, with NO TIME GOAL!!!

1 week ago, she runs a 24 mile long run that included 3 x 10k “at marathon pace.” How does one accomplish this if you don’t have a goal time for the marathon you are running 3 weeks out?

Yesterday she runs the great north half(2 weeks out from Berlin) at “marathon pace.” Keep in mind, that yesterday’s “marathon pace” is almost 20 seconds per mile faster than her actual PR pace. This recent workload feels absolutely insane for someone who has a history of blowing up from trying to run faster than their fitness. Especially when Berlin is two weeks away and she claims she was only given 6-7 weeks notice to train.

The blowup this time around will be spectacular

Latest YouTube click bait "How I accidentally ran a sub 3" by Running Channel reject Mo. I'd steer clear of the self congratulations and show boating until you actually hit the goal your training was designed for.

Fordy Runs also did an 18 mile long run which looked like it nearly killed him at about 40 sec per mile slower than his "goal pace" - he ran with his mate Ben who is aiming for 2:50 in Chicago. I don't know why he would run a long win with a 4 hour marathoner. They need different stimulus IMO

I used to like Kofuzi.

But the selfie stick thing alone makes me detest him. But like all narcissists. Its not them that's the problem. Its us for noticing their stupidity and calling them out on it.

All I want to see from him is a video saying "I've heard you guys, and from now on, no stick"

I used to like Mo; however, his humble bragging of "How I accidentally ran a sub 3" at Sydney has been way too much for me - I am not going to subscribe to him. He just keeps doubling down again and again of how easy it was! Of course the sycophant social media comments are flooding in - he's superman to them!

He also said in the video the RUNNA had prescribed him 42k at conversational pace! Could this really be the case?

Who is he selling Runna to? Anyone capable of a 2:30, as he believes he is, will not be paying for Runna. Runna's aim is to rob money from newbies

I took your advice and did what you suggested in point 1 to stop the notifications. However; it hasn’t worked. It just seems to stop them from being able to see or comment on my page (I don’t post videos so that means nothing). Since doing it I’ve already had two more notifications of shorts they have done. It’s incessant. Wouldn’t care that much but they post so, so, so many videos.

Hmmm… really sorry then but I don’t know! I thought you could switch off notifications and block a channel, clearly not. My advice is that YouTube picks up on patterns so if you ignore the notifications and keep watching other content, YouTube will pick up that pattern and stop eventually.

Also - it might be worth just double checking you haven’t got the bell icon tapped on the channel just incase?

The girl is panicking.

Something went wrong in London. Why didn't she run her dream race? She doesn't know. She hasn't the running intelligence to work it out (despite charging people a fortune to coach them)

This isn't just about running. It is about her entire identity as a YouTuber and "pro" runner. I'd she has another poor race there will be plenty of other YouTubers who are waiting to take her viewers and her sponsorships.

Any normal "pro" would have regrouped , reviewed training, race data etc, maybe looked at the London block and compared to Houston or Berlin but not Philly. Too busy creating drama for clicks.

She swaps and chops coaches, plans, running groups, locations so much she probably can't get much insight from her data one block to another.

The outside world stress she has created will probably ruin her chances of Berlin. Get ready for a "I'm Retiring." video in Oct
