Here's another piece of the almost complete puzzle. We know from the tracker and from the ultra crew that these guys have been taking dangerous routes since the start. To me it's just another damming piece of evidence that he cheated. Robert definitely sat in the RV for most of the way.

Had he been running on dangerous roads all along 1) he and crew would have quickly learned to be safer 2) the police would have stopped him several times and probably fined them. It shouldn't be of any surprise that Laz thought they were complete amateurs, because it was only after he joined that Rob actually had to run and the crew had to work.

On that note, these guys really must have been on their deathbeds from exhaustion as of last night. This is a blissful thought.

What do they now? First they have to cook up a really good excuse for the media and fanatics. I guess what they do after that depends on how much money they were able to swindle in their charity. If they have enough left surely they will just party it up spring break style all the way to NYC. If not they might have to liquidate the assets and get on a plane quickly. I wonder how much fighting must be going as they try to get their stories straight and scramble to make decisions.

Coach Kev has probably locked himself in a closet and won't be coming out anytime soon. It's unfortunate that your savior turned out to be a fraud. Now you can go back to duping your own clientele.

Exactly. This is their game. Just keep doing little "mistakes" on their WORLD RECORD RUN that their fans will forgive. They all add up to either a completely idiotic team. Or a completely idiotic cheating lying team. You pick.

I almost hope they do that just to see his fans say, "yay Rob! You're my hero! Miraculous recovery!" if he ends up dropping 200 consecutive 3:55 miles.

But seeing how the RV has not moved in hours, it looks like they've called it quits and are developing an exit strategy.

Broken foot and flesh-eating disease is actually a pretty good reason to stop.

I get the impression that you're really enjoying this and you know what so am I too. I'm glad this fool and his band of merry men have been exposed for the hobby jogger amateurs that they really are.

This is just the start and the sh!t will really hit the fan once the real details come out about his financial dealings with these so-called charities. I have a feeling that we will discover that it's not really about the kids at all.

Facebook suddenly gone very quiet now as I imagine they try and desperately figure out how to spin this one.

Let's keep the pressure on here until every single little detail of these fraudsters is exposed.

Hi Lindley Chambers I will be entering a 6 day race. I went from an average around 68 miles to 50 ish because of the leg. I cannot control the issue and still did 61.70 miles on the issue before seeking advice ...............

No way will he be doing any running. Ignoring all the letsrun jokes about how easy it is to walk 50 miles a day or how slow ultra runners run - it's going to take him a loooong time to finish.

He probably has to wait for the antibiotics to kill the bacteria in his cellulitis, and then with a day's rest and no Laz it's 100 mile days to New York.

His best known marathon mark is 3:07 at Virgin's London Marathon in April 2015.
