For Dave's speedy getaway, the Facebook page says they were "escorted off the A30" which doesn't make sense since I don't see any road closures on the A30 and why would they be "escorted"? Was it done by the police because they were blocking traffic with the van going a whopping 4 mph? Surely Dave knows that he can just send the van up the road and continue walking on the shoulder by himself instead of chopping 11 miles off the route in the van.

This is now sad and embarrassing. Someone please offer a sizable donation to his charity if he goes back, starts at the beginning and can finish a legitimate lejog in less than 20 days with real gps and cadence tracking. I don't think he could do it.

But as long as he keeps moving whether that be on foot or on a cycle he is still carrying on, this was a TEAM decision as they are all there, only they know how bad he's feet are.
