When you address me directly it would be odd not to comment on what you are writing. And if Armstronglivs had done the same, I would have had to comment on his things too, and I could have been critical there too, because I’m a critical guy…

A discussion between 2 or more posters isn’t a 2+2 matter of facts thing, when it comes to a complex theme like who’s the Goat or potential Goat. A discussion like that is highly subjective -one weight and focus on different things…

A discussion can become uncivil because of a number of things -irritation, claims about lying, shifting of focus, insults and so on. So who is to blame..? Well, then you need an objective, all knowing judge, but I can tell you, most of us aren’t at all..!

It is not about who is GOAT or something like this, which I already have said several times (but it seems you have some sort of Armstrongitis?). It's about non subjective issues where it's obvious if true or false.

Just in this thread - for example - I have said several times that there CAN'T be a clear measure to such questions about GOAT.

In a recent post ObjectiveObserver called Armstronglivs senile ++ -I hope the latter got a good laugh (as I did) because ObjectiveObserver is even older than Armstronglivs (both are older than I am -but in Norway quite a lot can retire at 62 years of age -I too has been called senile, which is perfectly fine, but not if it’s in the heading of every post)… Well, in my eyes ObjectiveObserver did nothing wrong (He wouldn’t have used that word if he really thought senility was a thing here) -He just needed to blow out against a stubborn poster who really can be (deliberately) a pain in the arse (like I also can)…

In your post you cite an example of Armstronglivs’ bad behaviour/ debating skills: Oh ma.. You are entitled to criticise Armstronglivs. And he is a confrontational poster. -People are pixxed on him. But he knows what he is doing and he has an expressed reasoning for it. And I myself can’t see the harm in this, as long as it not turn into uncalled meanness. I see that meanness sometimes in others (unregistered posters, especially some opposed to Armstronglivs, but I think he tackles these idiots very well). But I don’t see that meanness in his posts. But criticism and bullying isn't the same, and you are trying to bully him…

If you think Armstronglivs (or I) are destroying threads you probably should block us. And if you are hurting in fights you shouldn’t pick them -there are a lot of posters here that mean the same as you (f.ex about Jakob, Nurmi, Elliott and so on). If you choose to engage in a poster like me you will get a lot of “unhinged babble” like here -I guess Salvitore’s head is about to explode- but that’s how life is…
