Can LRC provide a political description of their mods? It's probably as politically balanced as San Francisco or some other leftist hellhole.

The censorship over the past 1.5 years is insane. It's grown even worse over the last 6 months.

Can someone who works for LRC explain what happened to Jamin? Was he banned or has he stepped away? Someone started a thread on this that was almost immediately deleted by a moderator. I don’t know why people aren’t allowed to ask the question.

If he was banned, why? I have not witnessed him being rude to anyone.

His BFF Hardloper is not banned either, yet he is a major troll here and posts dozens of times a day. He chose to go underground with the username for the majority of his trolling.

Definitely. Every time a liberal cries about facts that hurt their feelings, they click "Report Post" and the mods assuage their neuroses. Of course that just encourages them and it is a downward spiral.

Btw, it is a metaphysical certainty that 100% of "Report Post" clicks are done by liberals. That fact is worthy of contemplation.

I doubt 100%. But I agree at least that leftists are far more likely to be concerned with the ideological purity of LRC. Or any site they visit. And they will take steps to eliminate the ideological competition, including through reporting every post that doesn’t meet their standards.

Not knowing who the mods are is stone age internet. They should be registered users, and their registered user name should be disclosed on any action they take.

The mods continue to make this site a lot less fun. They have deleted a thread on homeless people in Canada. They deleted another thread on the differences between men and women. Both had quality replies.

Brojos - what is the endgame here? What kind of site do you want? Do you want posts only on Jakob’s double threshold training strategy? Do you want a site with no humor? Do you want a site where only the moderators chosen political ideas are allowed?

Let the moderators keep going like this, and you drive people away. I for one have had a gut full of my replies disappearing with deleted threads.
