UConn is looking! Big name?
This is Rich Miller's new job. Already Associate Head and has been there forever with a lot of success. UConn would be crazy to go anywhere else.
Tea will be spillin all week over at the New Deck Tavern during Penn Relays (aka Dolan's Olympics). Meet sure got hard to get into once ol Stevey-poo took the reins!
Doubt it. They have hired an outside company to help them find the next coach. Why would UConn pay all that money to hire an executive search firm if they have their man? Maybe it is school policy, who knows!
Jason Ordway is resigning at the end of this outdoor season so looking like Dayton is going to be looking for a new mens and womens cross country coach/womens distance for track. Sad to see him leave after dominating the A-10. Heard they don’t pay well there so going to be interesting to see what local high school coach they hire next.
Tulsa
Are you telling me Roy is leaving and they're hiring a new head coach? THAT is great news. The UCONN program has been held back by him for decades. Exciting times for the program!
Who is leaving Tulsa?
It's anything but an incredible look, however I don't thoroughly consider he'll be terminated it except if some new stuff begins coming out more info of essay help online did nothing exceptional enough at Tulane or left on schedule to substantiate himself at a more significant level to warrant what Oregon will need.

Huge hire on the community college scene. I have watched this guy race and train before. He was also around Wayne State University and he helped coach a lot of successful athletes there. I am surprised it took this long for him to be hired somewhere else. I cannot wait to see what he is able to do at this level. Give him a couple of years and this Macomb program will be a force. This team will learn how to work hard that is for sure.
Should of stayed with Wayne

You mean the UCONN program that broke the big east scoring record outdoors in 2021 with 294 points? 2nd place only had 126.
The same UCONN that just got 3rd in the championship of America DMR at Penn Relays? That was leading until 100m to go and got passed only by the NCAA mile champ and the 6th year senior from Wisconsin that was 4th at NCAA indoor 3k?
Hell, if that's UCONN being held back then the new coach will surely have them winning NCAA titles every year.
Maybe they are looking at an Ncaa winning caliber coach…

Correct. But you misread and/or don't understand the law of averages. A good year, which this was, is NOT what I said. About every 10-ish years the program has a great runner or a couple good ones. D1 schools should see at least that. A ton of talent goes to UCONN and much of it withers on the vine because of roy. That could be a consistently good program, possible at the national level, but not with him there...as evidenced by the past 35 years. I'm glad to see another bump in their performance as of late but that has nothing to do with my point.
Also, it looks like roy has farmed out more of his job, especially in recent years. That might be why they seen some improvement. I could be mistaken but others are doing the recruiting now and that alone probably helps. Others are doing more of the direct coaching over time. Now he's headed out and they're improving. That's what your statement shows.
Coach Roy has done a great job at UConn. They've been the premier program in the northeast for 20 plus years. They are a complete track and field team, (sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and distance), something not all teams can do. Coach Roy will be missed. Rich Miller will be the best possible person to take over the team.
What’s going on with all of these possible open positions? And I am only referring to D1 please.

Untrue. However, I should clarify. I'm talking specifically about the distance and middle-distance runners. In terms of the full track team, it looks like the more others step in to do the coaching the better they do. That’s great and makes sense. When he directly coached a runner, they were more likely not to excel. When he gave up on one, which he did numerous times by his own admission, they did better. I saw him intentionally ruin the career of two runners by, as he said in front of people, making their lives so miserable they’d want to quit. Roy held UCONN back for decades. I look forward to what comes next.
What happens to Crevoiserat next? If UConn is unstable does she look elsewhere? She’s brought life back to that program.

Week off then conference, then regionals, then ncaa… after each of these time frames jobs will pop us as people move on at the end of their seasons.
