I think she's definitely more aware that at the mile some of the girls can compete with her
2 miles and above she's pretty much solidly better but at the mile Parks Starcher and starliper can all give her a run for her money

It sounds interesting for someone to run with their the first mile and a half or whatever
But you have to remember no one has been closed to her in cross-country for the last 3 years for a reason
I mean think about it over the last three seasons no one has been within 20 seconds of her
Or I guess 17 and that was second best runner in the country Kelsey chmiel
Outside of that one race no one's been within 20 maybe even 30 seconds of her pretty amazing
The only way other girls could stay with their is if they alternate for 1/2 mile stretches
No Runner can stay with her for a full race but if you get six different Runners running hard they could stay with her for a portion of the 5K each
And then that would guarantee that someone's pushing her all the way through and she has competition. They have to work it out though and really work together. But it's possible
That's theoretically possible but in practicality it would take quite a cohesive effort among the group
If it was so easy to do the teams would all run a lot faster
Are you suggesting staggered starts for the other Runners throughout the course?
I highly doubt that if she showed up at Footlocker anyone would know whether or not she's officially entered
I mean come on she's a pretty famous runner I think if she showed up they would just assume she's supposed to be there
I mean you really think at nxn every Runner is officially entered. I'm sure a bunch of those girls just wander onto the court and get swept up in the currents of the runners so to speak. I mean that's a big race I really doubt that every Runner is officially entered. I would say 10 to 15 girls just wander onto the course and end up running
Really? I never thought about it that way!

Everyone saying she's going to crash Foot Locker! I don't buy it though. Too risky!
look for her to run an xc race on the east coast closer to home the week after NXN

I got the feeling that Touhy was ducking Starliper at Luock's maybe because was not quite 100 percent.
She had 2 AP tests that day and got out from the 2nd after the team bus had left. There were interviews done with her after the 1 mile on Saturday.
https://ny.milesplit.com/videos/380980Exactly! Even though there are no cross-country races on the East Coast after nxn. And she absolutely will be not running that week
I think you're 100% right and she will be running! There's a better chance of her mountain biking alongside the FootLocker race then running some fictitious imaginary East Coast cross-country race the week after nxn
Tuohy is the goat she doesn't duck anyone!
But this girl is a distance Runner so she knows her bread and butter is 3000m and above
Can anyone confirm this rumor that she might be mountain biking alongside the FootLocker race? Cross training at its finest!
I doubt she'll be mountain biking alongside the FootLocker race
I mean anything's possible this kid's a competitor but it seems a little far-fetched. Anyone know if she mountain bikes? Or what sort of biking she's into?
Guy seriously could you picture Katelyn Tuohy mountain biking during the Foot Locker race alongside it?
I mean do you seriously think she's going to be mountain biking alongside one of the national championship races
What are the odds 30% chance? 40% chance? I'm just saying do you really think it's likely?
Tuohy could actually still run at Footlocker and NXN if she competes at FL Northeast instead of NXR NY. NXN would without a doubt give her a free invite as an individual. Then she could do the double. So it's possible yes, but extremely unlikely as it is a lot to ask for a kid to fly out to an opposite coast back to back TWICE and race hard on both weekends. Tuohy will likely want to rep with her team at NXR as well, even if they don't make it to NXN.
She's running nxr with her team. They've been talking about it for months.
It would have been cool if it happens
But honestly I'm just glad to see her doing so well and running strong this year
It's not easy to stay so steady and run great week after week
Yeah I don't think she wanted all the headaches of trying to balance to National Meats. I'm curious to see what happens with college. When is she going to announce? What school is it going to be?

I don't think they have to be staggered just strategically placed at intermittent distances. Like if all the runners start a half a mile ahead of each other

Can we get some consensus about what the plan is for Foot Locker there's a lot of different ideas floating around
I love all the predictions that leave out NXR Midwest winner Dudek, who beat Hart, David, Ewert, etc.
Nice work!

Sort of a consilience of opinion is that what you're getting at
