Bekele and Geb DID close sub 13 in a sub 27 race in Paris. But no guy has ever come close to closing in 3:32. That is disgusting.
If you drop times/splits that rival those of the Chinese women’s team in the 90’s, people are going to be suspicious.

I’ve heard from someone this afternoon that he thought the stadium was ‘chilled down’ to 78° ...
Gidey's 1500 PR is 4:11 from two years ago, but she closed in 4:04.
Don't forget that at the 2017 World Champs Ayana Split 15:51 and then 14:24 to win the 10000m in 30:16...
In Ayana's World record from Rio 2016 she ran a 14:47 and then 14:30 to run 29:17... which is a whole minute faster.
I think the speed at which Hassan closed is superbly amazing, but this just shows that she is capable of running a much faster time if she goes out harder or ran more even splits (though it seems like Hassan almost always runs her best by negative splitting).
I think it would be extremely exciting to see a match up with Ayana, Hassan, and Obiri all at 100% to see just how fast they can crush the 5000m and 10000m.
She was passing a lot the final 1500; her actual 1500 was around 3:58-low. Unnnncredible!
I think we all have low expectations of women over 1500m. Women can be running sub-3:50 for 1500m by now, but much of the best talent has been below or above that race distance. It just wasn't sexy to race the 1500m as a female. Small sample size. I mean, didn't Suzy Hamilton run 3:59 almost 20 years ago and Mary Decker almost 30 years ago?
An all time performance, reminiscent of Bekele's sub-13 to finish a 10k and El G's 1:46 to finish a 1500.
As I recall during Wang Junxia's 1993 WR, she closed in 14:26 (5000 m) and around 8:20 (3000 m), probably drug enhanced but that 5000 was under the WR at the time.

14:42 is 31 seconds off the world record. Not a big deal off a slow first 5k. Based on what she has done in the past, it's not at all suspicious. Go back and look at the Olympic men's10k final in 2004. I believe the 2nd 5k was run in sub 13 minutes (Gebrelsalsie, Sihane, and Bekele). I don't know about Ayana's run, but she ran a significantly faster time than anyone's ever run, hardly comparable to Hassan's race today.
As someone else posted, the first 5k was at Hassan's 1/2 marathon pace. hardly blistering .
You just name dropped a bunch of athletes that are either highly suspicious or ran in the EPO era. Those are not valid comparisons at all. The fact of the matter is that 14:42 for 5k alone in a championship with a sub 4 last 1500 is extremely fast. Period. 14:42 in a championship 5k alone is fast let alone after 5k at half marathon pace. She just won a 10k where the last 1500 alone ranked in the top 10 for the year. That is not normal.
