Yeah, I met Trump, too. I wasn't even thinking a bout including him. I could tell the story, but let's just say he was major creep.

If you take from people whom I managed to see in person, then it was Elon Musk. And it was an absolute coincidence) My only chance to reach such a level of capital would be https://syndicate.casino/en-au/casino/slots
I have no idea really, never really thought about this. Probably some old white guy.
Robert Redford waaaay back when. We used to go up to Sundance for lunch and I think he really liked my mother because he would always come sit with us.
Julia Louis Dreyfus at the grocery store a few times plus she lives on my 6 mile route and see her often.

By any chance is he by Lake Huron? If so, incredibly awesome guy.

She's an heiress to a large shipping company.

No way Peterman pays that well.

Let's hear it!
Buddy of mine is worth ~ $500 million. He started a business in his 20s and sold it to a PE group in his 30s. There's a group of 6 of us who get together every couple of months for dinner. A couple of years ago he flew us out to Tahoe for a week and at the end of this month I'll be on his 85' yacht in Miami.

True!
She is an heiress to a multi-billion French shipping/banking family but she's only got a mere $200 million of it.
(I read her mail.)

I got in a bar fight with Warren Buffett (worth $86 billion) at a Hooters in Omaha. He's a nasty drunk.
I used to work out in The Plains/ Middleburg areas of Virginia (UPS driver), so I delivered to a lot of rich people and chatted with them on occasion:
Jacqueline Mars (Mars Candy)
Dielle Fleischmann (Fleischmann's Margarine)
Sheila Johnson (co founder of BET, owner of the Mystics, part owner of the Capitals and the Wizards)
Sandy Lerner (co founder of CISCO Systems)
Andrea and Lavinia Currier, some of the richest people you've never heard of (google them, very interesting)
Various Duponts, a bunch of them live out that way
Robert Duvall, not as rich as some but I figure he's at least a millionaire.
That's just off the top of my head, there's probably a few more but it's been at least 10 years since I had that route.
Layers to this - richest people I have been introduced to but didn't have a proper conversation with:
Galen Weston - ($11.3 billion, 2nd richest guy in Canada, runs the largest grocery store over there), but not like we spoke with each other properly. Hal Jackman ($1.6 billion - think he was in insurance).
In terms of people knowing properly though, I am not sure who would be richer of the two. One who I had a few dinners with for work but also went to school with some of his daughters was Blake Goldring. Can't find his networth, but he is the CEO and son of founder of an investment firm worth $54 billion so presumably his family are doing fairly well for themselves. What astonished me with him was his memory. The first time I met him it was for two minutes at a very busy event, while the second time we bumped into each other was in a parking lot. He remembered my name, what I did in school, and what sport I played. Every time we met, he had a way in conversation of making me feel like I, and what I had to say, was the most important thing in the world to him. He wasn't a flatterer, just very good at paying attention and coming across supremely engaged.
A friend's father is also the founder of an insurance company worth a couple billion but don't know their net worth. He is just a workaholic. Doesn't stop. 100% intensity all day every day. Zero patience. One we were in IKEA and he tried to check out several thousands of dollars worth of furniture in the express self checkout aisle and had a rather intense confrontation with staff who tried to stop him. One of their houses used to be owned by the manager of a well known US boy band and once he had it he made it 33% bigger and I seem to remember disappointment because there wasn't room in the garden to build a helicopter pad...
Anyway, loads of stories from that last family, though I don't want to put a name given they try to be quite private about it. It seems to be quite a life being that rich. They're the kind to casually ask if you want VIP tickets to Kanye or Beyonce because they have some but don't feel like going.

I'd hardly call 10 million rich. isn't that like half of LRC?
further, a CFO for a major company can pull down 10m a year....
Yah I probably should have used the word "major". It wasn't Facebook or Microsoft. $1 billion yearly Revenue.
$10 million is definitely rich.
She’s the sole heir to the largest Greek shipping concern. Her father passed away in maybe 2017 or thereabouts. Could be some time before such an estate is settled but it does all go to her. Dad’s net worth was in the $8-10B range.

But according to wiki "Duct tape, also called duck tape, is cloth- or scrim-backed pressure-sensitive tape... ." So... .
Correct. The tape was initially developed by the military. They called it "duck tape" because it could get wet without failing. HVAC people later adopted the stuff and started calling it "duct tape."
So both names are correct, and anyone who criticizes the use of "duck tape" is a clueless moron who should be beaten. Or at least they are incorrect.
Hey, what about me...it is 'Gaffer tape"
